Beautiful. How close do you try to keep the line to the rod ? Or maybe I should ask how much cant do have on the rod ? Side view it looks pretty straight up and down.
Good question. Where you point the tip of the rod is a matter of personal preference. I never cast straight up and down because any mistake can land the fly in your head or body. As long as the tip is travelling in a straight line back and forth, you can cast loops at any angle.
