It’s not Ekaterina Semenova, it’s Anna Bajdavletova (Nuta from Ranetki). Winx were aired on CTC in Russia n they had series ab Ranetki which was super popular, so CTC made Ranetki to sing all the songs in Winx movies

Can anyone eхplain why french versions of transformations from S1-5 are so liked by everyone? I am so shocked that talentless Mary Lanzafame without a voice is so overrated. Thanks God she got fired after S5 otherwise I wouldn't resist tyniх and butterfliх from her.

I like some Mery works, but I prefer the butterflix french!
I remember when season 6 first aired in France in fall of 2014 and people discovered that Mery wasn't the French singer of Winx Club anymore, fans went crazy and criticized the new singers voices saying they didn't hold a candle next to Mery. Personally I felt like the singing direction in the French dub of season 6 and the 3rd movie was bad but they improved A LOT in Season 7 and World of Winx. That said, to me Mery had an incredible talent and will forever be the voice of the original Winx Club Seasons. I would like to add that, unlike what is often said, she wasn't fired after season 5, Rainbow just couldn't renew their contract with her because they changed the studio in which the show was dubbed moving from Dubbing Brothers (to which Mery was affiliated to in France), to C YOU SOON studios in Belgium thus she wasn't able to continue working on the show. This studio change happened because Rainbow was having financial difficulties due to the movie "Gladiators of Rome" failing internationally and Dubbing Brothers is a very expensive studio. A similar thing happened in the English Dub but here not only the studio but the full cast was replaced because they were too expensive.

@@HeroManNick132 Semenova shamed sts dub, when she returned to sing in WOW and s8 as songs are painful to listen. And I totally agree that Maria is better (especially in Butterflix)

@@HeroManNick132 Do you mind if I join? Semenova did pretty good job from s1-s6 songs, in s8 Sirenix was her best song, in my opinion. Semenova is Stella's and Icy voiceactress, and Icy sounds great compared to Katya Braykovskaya. Braykovskaya was good at Roxy.
But I cringed a bit, in season 8, cause Icy sounds in middle of her 40's , but she looked like 16 years old. LMAO.
I don't remember when Russian Nick even dub the songs for shows. They only dub from Nick Jr, and Butch Hartman shows, and maybe some forgetable shows. Katya dubbed 1-2 specials and only s5-s6, from s3-s4 they keeped English songs (Enchantix, Believix). And by mistake she even dubbed s3 intro)) Of cource, they didn't used it.
