Another niche activity which which will mushroom into a huge sector, adding cost to manufacturing and industry in the west. But it will have little impact of course, since every thing is made in China and they are highly selective about what they regard as important. Corporate Governance conveniently is irrelevant in China. So countries which have outsourced their manufacturing to China will be blame free. Job done.

Perhaps this will herald a perspective that sees business as working with, rather than trying to dominate, the environment. Taking a long term view, rather than hiding behind fiduciary responsibility and the consequences that can bring. The change of thinking required is seismic the consequences of not doing so may be fatal.
Imagine being this naive. At the mercy of ESG overlords, you will have neither the environment nor fiduciary responsibility

Environmental considerations should be separated out as should Social and Governmental. Otherwise a strong performance in one can overshadow poor performance in another!
