I recently beat shovel knight a few weeks ago and pretty much the entire time I kept saying "wow, everything about this is really good", including the music. So I thought I'd try to do one of the tracks in my own little way! I thought the chorus to Propeller Knight's theme was really cool and I said "hey, I bet that would sound cool if it was slower" and then I said "hey, I bet that would sound really cool on saxophone" , so I asked Carlos and he said "yeah boyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy" (not his longest one ever, but that's fine) And now we're here! Hope you like it~

Yeah I feel you, the original is so fast and has all those crazy bass lines, I wasn't really sure how it would turn out all stripped down like this, but I'm super happy with the end result!

Incredible. The sweetness and beauty of thie cover, remind me of village songs from Chrono Cross. More people need to try out Shovel Knight! All the music is quite good, but High Above the Land is my favourite theme song because the melody really resonates with me. Your cover really accentuates its charm.

For me:
Shovel knight: 3-5 deaths per run
Specter knight: maybe 1-3 deaths? (This level was really fun and intuitive with him)
King knight: maybe 10 deaths total cross all the stages related to Propeller knight. I certainly clenched my cheeks on these stages cause I couldn’t cheese ANYTHING.
Plague knight: for my favorite character I added 100 deaths the first time around. And about 20 of those were the level itself. Nowadays it’s about 3 deaths to the stage, 5 to propeller knight. His rematch in the boss rush is SO MUCH EASIER!
