Thinking about picking these up due to the current 25% off on this colorway, but you're bringing up an issue for me that was a nonstarter on the Invincible 3s - the top was so constrictive that the bottom eyelets were grinding into my big toe knuckles. Never had an issue like this with any other shoes, and it was so severe that it was painful to simply walk. Going up a half size didn't fix it.
I have several pairs of the ZoomFly 6 and I’m not sure those little holes in the tongue are meant for the laces. It’s not reinforced so I think it will tear through rather quickly. It looks like a manufacturing alignment hole to align the tongue on some sort of jig. I could be wrong though. Let’s us know how it holds up. Thanks for the review. I enjoyed your enthusiasm.😊
I just ran my first Marathon in them yesterday. I was really happy with them overall. Much quieter than the Alphafly runners around me lol. Ive done several different workouts in them and they work well at a range of paces. Thanks for the review! I do wonder about how differently these fit people. For me they feel roomier in the toe box than my Pumas. Not as wide as my Altras but they definitely dont feel constricting to me. I can wear a US 10.5 or 11 and lately Ive only been buying 11s so maybe Im up a half size? Either way I love the fit. I hear new colors are coming
They does look narrow but surprisingly nikes vf3/af3 and this one have been great on my wide foot, puma is almost pushing it on my dn2s but still comfortable hence why I skipped the dn3 because it become narrower apparently.
I also felt the toe area was relative constricted. I thought about going up half a size, but then the heel would be to big. I had to use the runner‘s knot to secure the heel. Without it it felt too roomy. Still, a VERY comfortable shoe, I could walk in it all day long. Really feels very nice around the feet. I only got to run with these shoes on my Tread, and loved them. Only problem - it felt a bit slippery for some reason. I even used my safety clip (which I never use) just in case. A good review, thanks. I have the same colorway and I love it, but I’m a woman. great feedback on the fit. Did you feel like they are "shallow" in the toebox? did you feel the pressure from the material on the top of your foot?
