The demand for the water has increased exponentially since the dam was built. Thats the biggest issue. Stop building and developing downstream, instead of just blaming climate change.

Its both. Too many humans AND bad management of the planet

Better water management would help, try electing people who do not hate your guts.

They need to change the title because Hillary had no impact on the lake. I work for the marina and know for a fact that the Hurricane had no impact.

No, Hilary didn't boost the lake level. It will get almost no benefit, for the simple reason that almost all of the rainfall fell to the west of the Colorado River Basin, and will never come anywhere near Lake Mead.

Highly inaccurate, the water levels had already risen by 20ft before the storm came through so that was not the cause at all.

Hey numbnutz. You don’t know squat. The storm didn’t raise Mead by three inches. Educate yourself before spouting off.

The first time that I visited Tucson, Arizona in the early 1970’s, everyone had beautiful front lawns that had to be watered twice per day in August when we visited. The next time that I was in Tucson was in 1984 and all the landscaping now looked like beautiful desert 🌵 landscapes and lawns were outlawed.
Can you imagine if Beverly Hills and other wealthy areas had to
do the same? The rich just pay the penalties or they pay to have water trucks bring in water pumped from a dying aquifer or reclaimed water from the sewage treatment plant may be used. If you have enough money, anything is possible!

THE HEADLINE IS BULLSHIT! I have been following the daily lake level for years, using official BR figures. The level has been on a slight, mostly steady increase for months and no such sudden increase in the level has occurred. Where does this misinformation originate ... and why?

Stop doing nothing. Carve a canal to Laguna Salada, then pipe to fill up the Salton Sea, and the increased evaporation will solve the water issue in the west. If more water is needed, pipe to Death Valley, adding even more evaporation. This increased evaporation will lead to increased rain and snowfall, which should reach far enough north to refill Lake Sevier and benefit the Great Salt Lake.

I said last year ask Jesus for rain to fill lake Mead .. it's happening is anyone willing to thank him .. it was 1042 at its lowest June 2022 now August 2023 it's near 1064 that's 22 feet higher if they didn't let water out I bet God provided an extra 100 feet it would be 1142 feet now

I’ve been praying and asking Him too. You’re right, they let far too much water out and they know they do. The Lord is good.
