+Nacirema House music and UK garage have very similar vibe. House music started in detroit and chicago and then spread to NYC a and then became huge in the UK and the rest of Europe. At the same time industrial and electronic music and New wave were already popular and then next came Garage music. They all have similar roots mixing soulful voice (rnb) with electronic sound.
David Black I'm from Chicago and I grew up on this music. Uk garage is a spinoff of house music, which is why they sound so similar. Since it seems like you're really into this Genre, you should definitely check out Cajmere/Green velvet, Frankie Knuckles, Felix Da housecat, and/or Dj Funkmaster Flex. You'll be amazed how heavily influenced Disclosure was by this stuff that came out 35 years ago!

Anyone else had this on constant repeat? I've probably listened about 20 times over and over already; you know a track is great when you can listen on loop like that. But seriously, man this album is gonna be one of the best electronic music albums ever? Settle was absolutely brilliant but i feel like they've just taken it to a whole new level. I'm like a little kid waiting for christmas, just nothing but amazing music from these guys, everything ticks the box; the way live instruments and raw musicality intwine and meet with electronic music, it's been done outrageously well, goes way beyond merely dance music. I can't wait till the 25th and even future albums because as we see, they're just getting better when they're so good already, new innovative ideas, no selling out, just ridiculous talent and proper, REAL music. They keep outdoing themselves, the sky is literally the limit. And Jill Lion Babe your actually just flipping beautiful and you have an amazing voice. Amazing stuff. Utmost respect!

I think this could be a real hit, it's catchy as hell could make Lion Babe a star just like Sam Smith featuring on Latch really gave him a springboard to get his solo stuff out there. Such a dreamlike tune that takes you to another place of intense happiness.

+TerrBears Ave I love disclosure production ugghhh uk garage/deep house is where its at. Detroit and Chicago originated the House music sound but the UK still play it and created Garage music. So I'm so glad their taking it back to US with their collabs with Lion babe and Gregory porter. Finally music is getting really good again thank to rnb soul and expermental us singers and the uk producer and soul singers.
