When Dartford Crossing had toll booths, the queues caused hell long traffic jam affecting nearby areas; hence, tolls booths were crapped. Most users of Dartford Crossing signed up for auto toll.

UK seems to be quite backward on this. Here in Sydney all toll roads are collected using eTolls. We just put the receptor on the windscreen of the car and when we drove pass these toll roads, bridges and tunnels, it just automatically deduct from your account. No need to think about it. If the detection did not work, it will match your plate with the system and deduct it.
In the UK congestion/emission chargees are usually collected via ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition), no need for any tags🤣
You can register for direct debit and funds will be automatically deducted from your account - it's the hefty amount people are complaining about
美國又係咁，越來越多地方唔出錢請人收費，做遊客好唔方便，仲會被租車公司狂收行政費！
Faye 好多毛繩衫好靚😍講下倫敦星期日有咩地方可以唔駛錢泊街或者平價泊車地方，點樣搭火車加地鐵可以平，早D買票係未平D，如果每次扣數又差幾多，有咩app 可以坐咩車同價錢去目的地
heathrow Airport同埋gatwick airport long stay carpark 都可以免費drop off的
我今個月先啱啱用完
gatwick airport 就有兩個鐘頭, 送埋機都應該啱啱夠的, 接機嘅話個時間就要算得準啲, 我登記埋機場航班記錄arrival報告根據佢嘅改動變更去機場嘅時間原則上等飛機靚land咗5至10分鐘先會好啲,(機場繁忙嘅時候同埋通關手續簡單嘅人), 如果冇信心嘅就等裏頭打電話話出到關你先好入去
heathrow airport就非常孤寒得半個鐘, 因為你出入機場大樓會唔夠時間,建議你dropbox或者接完人好走
需要嘅話喺附近休息站或者超市停低要接機嗰個到咗long stay停車場你先揸入去會安全啲
同埋long stay最差情況千祈唔好停超過兩個鐘頭因為會變成直接計一整日

開EV就絶對唔使俾ULEZ fee, 只需係TFL 登記，一年£10, 就可以連去central London congestion fee都唔使每次俾.
大部分汽油車都係唔需要既，柴油就 2014 後都唔需要，但唔排除阿市長大人又搶錢改限制，再唔係將 CCZ 改大範圍要搞到全倫敦成為無車城市一係就搶錢

香港果個快易通自動道路繳費系統叫 Autotoll, 唔係 Autopay, just for your info
擺到明想逼人搭鐵搭火車，唔好講倫敦，有啲鎮都開始想推greener traffic減低用車率，不過遇到罷工或者有咩意外就企咗喺度囉。單車同scooter係好啲嘅選擇，但行唔到太遠。
結論：練好啲腳骨力，盡量少啲出遠門。

Yes that’s true but the other 3 adults need to travel with the railcard holder. Also sometimes if you travel in groups of more than 3, a group savings (1/3 off) maybe available and a railcard is not required in this instance

可唔可以講下英國泊車啊？發現佢哋都幾麻煩，有D用app 俾錢（不過香港apple ID download 唔到），有Dpay and display, 有D用coins, 有D泊完網上俾，超多種類。好多時又無匣口，遲－兩分鍾出車都好大壓力
我都想知，泊完車再去睇泊車通知個牌，再攪完個app或者去㩒飛仔出黎都要15分1鐘啦

technically speaking ULEZ Charge 唔係一個罰款，而只係一個附加收費。唔記得交錢就真係要畀罰款。
ULEZ 主要針對氮氧化物 (nitrogen oxides NOx) 嘅排放，因為研究指出呢類排放物係會誘發哮喘
其實好多平嘅汽油車(under £1000) 都唔使畀ULEZ Charge~
另外，運輸當局收費或罰錢嘅都有好多牌去提你，真係好少好少人係無辜。（利申：有唔記得交過Dart Charge ，要畀罰款，只怪自己唔記得）
Dartford Crossing 點解唔用Toll Booth? 因為只會令塞車更嚴重，暢通時又阻礙行車，增加不必要嘅廢氣排放/能源消耗
去機場其實唔好貪小便宜，係drop off 就去drop off，pick up / short stay 就去pick up / short stay，咁就唔會偷雞唔到蝕揸米。Heathrow 同有其他機場都有offer free drop off / pick up， 多數會叫你去Long Stay 停車場嘅，pandemic 前都用唔少，詳情請參閱有關機埸網站。（其實pandemic 之前時不時就有警察同parking enforcement 喺terminals drop off area 趕車同出罰單）
正所謂「去廸士尼做足準備，玩得開心至醒得你」。去唔同地方都事先準備計劃下，就可以減低不快情況發生，全世界最醒嘅香港人應該識嘅 :)
