I'm currently on a nostalgia trip binging all of the old Linkin Park/Fort Minor songs that I loved as a kid. I never understood how powerful they were back then, I just loved the sound of the music. It's amazing how when you're young, something can have so much impact that you didn't even realize was there until you got older. It's like I'm rediscovering my favorite song from a new perspective.
What the hell. why is this song so underrated?

Oh my god, i just found a old gem of my childhood. I heard this song 12 years ago when it came out and it quickly become one of my favorites. After a while i forgot it and now its hitting me like a stone.
mike shinnoda ...he raps so smoothly....so soothing to hear him either here or in Linkin Park. he is god gifted. some rare people sing so smoothly, feels so soothing to hear their voices. its not edited, all pure and natural.

My mom loved this song. Which was really important to me. For some reason, I always wanted her to like the things I liked, but she pretty much only listened to country and oldies. I loved Linkin Park and Fort Minor like it was my job, and wanted her to love them, too, but they were pretty far removed from her Conway Twitty and Elvis. But I played this song in the car, and she turned it up and said, "I like this one." It's painful to listen to now that she's gone (heart attack, 2014) but it means so much.
I dedicate this song to my dad. Yeah... this is exactly how I feel.
