The crimson colors on the mountain sunset in Senja were extraordinary. The views from the ferry crossing were stunning, mountains everywhere just dropping into the sea. Your hike on Andoy to the top of Matind provided gorgeous views in every direction. The colors and light on the ocean were eye-popping. All in all a splendiferous journey.
Yeah, it was probably one of the most beautiful hikes I have done, I did a similary good hike in Senja a few weeks ago, you might have seen the drone video from that on patreon
👋Hey there Jarl, Wow, another jaw dropper once again. Just amazing from start to finish & all of the stunning scenery abound, especially the beautiful mountains & the sea, literally took my breath away. I absolutely LOVE mountains & the sea. This video & your older video, "1000 metres above the fjords" are 2 of my top favourites, albeit I love all of your videos. The ferry ride was so so beautiful & right there & then, it took me all the way back to Norge earlier this year & reminded me of my ferry ride into the fjords, of which I did in Winter. And on that note, I have to say, it was some of the coldest & windiest weather I'd ever experienced, but still, was incredibly fun, exhilarating, breathtaking & exciting & I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. That's the true beauty, of a Scandinavian Winter experience. Great memories etched within my psyche for a lifetime, but I know I'll head back as soon as I can, as I want to do much more exploring of Norge, Sweden, Faroe Islands, Iceland, Finland, the Baltics & beyond. As I always say within my posts, your cinematography skills are always top notch & make for a great viewing experience & the music that you play, is always A1 too. Looks like a lot of motorcyclists waiting to board. That was a lot of very disappointed cars/people who have to wait til tomorrow to board, IF they arrive soon enough tomorrow. All were RVs. As the ferry departed & as you filmed the surrounding mountains, you must have been filled with memories of you hiking those mountains. Beautifully clear day when departing in the ferry. 47:05 - Propane bottles easily accessible. Watching you make coffee is truly a "ritual". 54:50: On your hike, I couldn't tell if you were carrying water bottles or a bladder/drink tube/bite valve? This video, by itself, is worth every penny of my monthly stipend. Your videos are truly examples of exquisite creativity. Thank you my friend! Usually all MCs will be let onboard, they do not take space the same way, and the cars in line will just stay in line until the morning to not loose their space. This is always the same on this ferry, several cars left until the next day, and this year it has been worse than ever so important to plan well. I always have bottles for my water, never a bladder. I need to know exactly how much water I have left at all times, old habits from the desert lol

Your videos are my favorites. When a new one pops up on the alert list, one of the first things I do is check to see how long it is - hoping for at least 1 hr and preferably more than 1 hr. It is amazing all of the skills you have for the things you do. What was scary to me, though, is how close to the edges of those mountain top ledges you stood and sat. Yikes! You hiked up those mountains at a clip that looked like you were only taking a walk around the block. Thanks for another awesome video.

We just got back from Sweden last week! Beautiful country! Stockholm, Orebro, Strassa, Nora, Lindesberg , Uppsala............ The driving was so nice & peaceful & easy. The train was also very nice with the sun shining through the windows that it lulled me into a short nap.
What a good idea, go hiking again ! And it's surely worth the effort. What a splendid spectacle, with the turquoise sea, and the freakish coastline of the peninsulas. The views taken contre-jour. Those nuances of blue : sea, sky, isles. Didn't we see the little pyramide rock in an earlier video ? Incredibly marvellous images ! And after having reached the top of a hill/rock/mountain, what is the following thing to do ?.... Kneeling/Laying/Sitting down and look in the depth ! Of course ! Hahaha ! 😂 😅 - With those amazing views, my favourite music of yours Jarl : the lento "psalm".. Thanks a lot ! Going for a hike, good idea, we hadn't seen it for a while....

Beautiful images again Jarl. We were at Andøya at the beginning of June, and we went for a nightwalk at Bø. We spent the night in Marmelkroken. I think Vesterålen is more lovely than Lofoten. Less rough, more flowers and more bird species. Although Lofoten impressed us more because of its pointed mountain peaks. Super cool to see this! Thank you! I hope your Fiat is still in good condition after all those bumpy roads! Stay safe
Thank you Marinka, yes it is still holding up, this was last summer though. I really fell in love with Senja this summer and spent more time than anticipated, the ferry situation was not very good this year and I didnt want to go to Lofoten after all, so now I have turned back to Jokkmokk. Gonna go to the US in 3 weeks time so need to get slowly down south to prepare, but probably have 15 more videos from this summer to release. Hope to see the two of you next summer or maybe in the winter?

Beautiful images again Jarl. We were at Andøya at the beginning of June, and we went for a nightwalk at Bø. We spent the night in Marmelkroken. I think Vesterålen is more lovely than Lofoten. Less rough, more flowers and more bird species. Although Lofoten impressed us more because of its pointed mountain peaks. Super cool to see this! Thank you! I hope your Fiat is still in good condition after all those bumpy roads! Stay safe
Thank you Marinka, yes it is still holding up, this was last summer though. I really fell in love with Senja this summer and spent more time than anticipated, the ferry situation was not very good this year and I didnt want to go to Lofoten after all, so now I have turned back to Jokkmokk. Gonna go to the US in 3 weeks time so need to get slowly down south to prepare, but probably have 15 more videos from this summer to release. Hope to see the two of you next summer or maybe in the winter?
