Blew my mind to see so few people in the place when musicians like this are playing. If these guys were in our town I'd never leave the front of the stage.
Agree! That's why I'm posting these videos - to share this incredible music with a wider audience. Most towns aren't teeming with talent like in Nashville.
@@nashvilleheatwaves2695 yeah, pretty crazy to be so empty... would love it if acts like this could come to China.. there is a cool Blues scene here and some good venues with very appreciative audiences. Not just Yanks like me.
I totally agree. It happens alot in my home town.In fact we were asked to play at the farmer's market in my hometown, and the people were actually enjoying our blues, but the organisers kept coming to us to complain that our music was too loud,and asked us if we played any softer folk music.We packed it up and never returned, other places people just walk by when we,re busking down town.
Austin John continues to just be killer in this style of blues. It’s nice to see there will be a generation of players that keep doing it as Anson Funderburgh, Jimmie Vaughan, Mike Morgan and company get closer to retirement. If you dig Austin’s playing, make sure you are wise to Johnny Moeller and Shawn Pittman.
Two of the top blues guys out there. Love listening to you separately . Together is just out of the world. And the boys holding it downs are killing it. Thanks for posting this.

My gal and I caught Austin's other band the Hi-Jivers at the Campus Jax joint along with a couple of other bands. The venue was packed. You must have some spoiled fans in TN. Please come out to SoCal.
Unfortunately I live in the UK. Get to see some great artists, but they are at always at gigs miles away like center of London. Which is cool. But I really want to get over and spend some time in the USA and explore these sort of places. One day man

That's Nashville. All the tourist bars downtown are packed. Everything else is basically empty. The musicians wanna play and don't care who's there. For hardcore music lovers like me, it's heaven.

Tourists pack the bars downtown. All other locations compete for the locals, who have an over-abundance to choose from.
