I loved living there with my mnt wife . We lived in Windy Town until we got our own place in Hawks Town. I used to spend a lot of time in Eagle Bottom too. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Eagle Bottom Fiddle Player
The Eagle Bottom Fiddle Player , Bass Tate was his name , making country and mountain music was his call to fame. The fiddle player really liked his music , he`d play it both night and day , and when he`d start a fix`n to leave , the people would ask him to stay. Please Mr Fiddle Player , won`t you play one more? Won`t you please step back inside? Won`t you shut the door? Please Mr Fiddle Player , won`t you pretty please? So the fiddle player would sit back down and put them at their ease. And then there was music , music all the long , long while , the fiddle player was something else , the man really had some style. And there was dancing , dancing all across the floor , and when the fiddle player would stop , they`d all ask for more. The Eagle Bottom Fiddle Player , he`s not with us now , cause he`s in the sky above , taking one last bow. But he`s looking down on us , wishing us all well. The Eagle Bottom Fiddle Player was really something swell. The Eagle Bottom Fiddle Player , he`s not with us today , because the Eagle Bottom Fiddle Player , "Bass Tate" has passed away.

We moved to Wisconsin about 3 years ago. After watching your video, I'm homesick for Virginia, where I was born and raised.
It is nice to see that people care about my hometown

My Mom and Dad met and married in Fries, then moved north to the frozen hell called Detroit. He's a Grubb, she was a Bond.
