is crazy how almost no reactor catches the 5 leaf black clover lol
Black clover starts pretty slow but there’s a reason for that: much like Gintama(although Gintama used 100 episodes to do this and black clover uses like 20) it does this to flash out every single character in it and once it picks up the pace it goes HARD and while it starts pretty humble and rather generic for a shonen it starts to form into its own specific, unique and respectable story over time and while it isn’t a grand masterpiece unique and revolutionary it is in fact a veey Great case of “the basics well covered and an anime well done”
I love Black Clover.
The anime starts slow, it drags a little, after i finish the anime i decide to collect the manga to support the mangaka, the first volume of the manga is like equals to 11 or 12 episodes.
Still remembered after like 30 episodes of airing the rating was like 7.6 but when it popped off like after ep 50-100 it went up ro like 8.1-8.3

38:40 this opening has version with other visuals, where it is in color, arc with demon ended and they made new visuals for next arc. Opening 2, 5 and 7 have version with new visuals as well.
Black is a must watch anime if u want a typical anime and it's fillers are small and really interesting .
The concept of demon inside him is really good

Black Clover is one of the best new generation shonen series right now, besides Chainsaw Man. Black Clover starts off extremely generic, and taking inspiration from other existing series but over time it evolves to become something of its own. Black Clover is amazing. It's nothing near the best show. But it's one of my favourites

This anime started around 2015-2016 i think... so here are some information about the anime:
- This anime is about magic...like they all people have magic but they are measured on how much mana they have...
- Hierarchy wherein Nobles look down upon peasants or common people especially if they are low in mana...
- The protagonist Black Haired guy is magicless, no mana... the fistbump thing that he does with the tall guy is his rival and childhood friend and grew up in an orphanage in the boonies...
- This anime was supposed to run for about 50 episodes only because of how low the rating is, because of the low quality of the animation and always being compared to the 2 older animes such as Fairy Tail an anime which started around 2009 and comparing about the " the power of friendship" plot armor...the other anime being compared to is Naruto/Naruto Shippuuden, an anime that started around 2003/2004 which in Naruto, the protagonist is aiming to become a Hokage (somewhat a Great title of a village or like a President in present time) while here in black clover, the protagonist is aiming to be the Wizard King (highest title for the strongest Wizard)... so to continue, because of how the manga is gaining good ratings, they already continued the anime even though they have caught up with the manga, around episode 50 of the anime is just 15-30 chapters away in the manga but they continued it right away...so yeah this anime got nearly cancelled... but due to fans all over the world loved this series, it reached episode 170... until a hiatus started to further continue the manga...
- The coolest character in the anime is the guy with a samurai sword with a cigar especially with his one liner.
- The main protagonist is hated for the start of the series because of how the character is portrayed which he shout too much but will simmer down later on...but then he will be likable and lovable later on...
- the series starts slow so from episode 1- 27 is just an introduction of the to most characters... episode 28 onwards will be a great arc which you saw on opening 3...
- Black clover was spread throughout youtube and youtubers reactors because of how good the opening is which boosted the anime more known...
- Opening 13 became #1 i think in instagram and most talked on facebook and youtube... sold 1 million copies
- because of how the anime became popular, it got a new movie coming up around this year and after that they might resume the anime since the manga is getting far now...

That big guy that vanished from the earlier opening... well, that wasn't his true form. True form replaced him when appearing in the opening as part of the guild.
Black Clover is a very good anime, long, but not boring and (nearly) always fun and nice.
Anyway I suggest you "The Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime" first.
For more reason, it's shorter (48 episodes + 6 Ova), it's very well done, with good world building, character design and some politics too.
And it's fun, with a very nice humor, since the start.

They're in the military, no schools in this series, the Uniforms are to show what squad they're in, with 9 main squads and the Royal knights who serve under the kingdom.
For some light summary, the START of the anime is like a fusion of Naruto with Fairy Tail: seeking become the 'king' of their type while living in a magic guild. But, it changes significantly in a new direction as the story progresses.^_^
black clover is NOTHING like naruto. it's more like bleach and one piece along with hero aca

Enjoyed the reaction. Hope you will do Gegege no Kitaro (2018) ending 8. The Gegege no Kitaro AMV (A.M.D.K.J) for ending 8 is done by the rock band SCANDAL and such a fantastic song. SCANDAL did openings 10 and 15 for the anime Bleach and endings 4 and 5 for Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.

I will always say this, if Black Clover were even half as good as its openings, it might be one of my favorite anime.
You have a good eye for things, but you're getting wayyyy off at other things. But it's completely understandable without much context, and we would've thought the same. Things are not what they seem, and that's in a very good way
