Hi, I'm new here, I found your channel in a few days and I'm very glad to have found your videos, enjoying them a lot so far :] It's nice to find someone who's done graphic design and is going more for illustration, I have been going to college for visual design recently (but tbh it's pretty much graphic design, and I'm going to go on my last year soon), it's nice to understand what you mean about certain aspects you mentioned in the video :3 (also the word you might be looking for is bitmap instead of raster. Or at least that's how I was taught in illusttration classes)
omg thank you so much!!! my education was a bit of a mess because i graduated high school during the pandemic but im hopeful i can still share insights into the design world -despite feeling like im not really a part of it! (also thanks for the tip!! design vocab changes so frequently its hard to know the right term sometimes 😂)
hey im also new here! :))) i just wanted to say that i really like the way you make videos and draw/paint!😊 Watching ur videos really inspire me while struggling with artblock!
we really didnt do a lot of photography either in graphic design, i think its because a lot of the elements we might need for something is usually taken by an actual photographer and then given to us by the customer/studio to use. and with a lot of camera these days, they arent that hard to learn how to use them to get shots you can use (and they also expected us to go off and learn how to do something on top of course work, expected to take the initiative ourselves and not but the tutor)
Also i just wanted to ask what camera and mic do you use? or do you use just ur phone? :> ive been thinking that i would like to start making videos like this to help me personally show myself that even if i just draw canine characters it matters!
i dint use anything fancy haha i actually just use my phone for both!!! my basic camera app is what i use to film and the app voice memos to record my voice overs it took some practice to get used to talking to a phone but i got used to it hope this helps :)
