There are many people out there, myself having been included but Christ is setting me free, who run to certain things when they feel afraid or uncomfortable that are familiar and make them feel more comfortable, but they are actually very destructive and spiritually deadening. You may have never experienced it yourself but this world has almost 8 billion people, and this principle will definitely apply to others, including Christians. We can't kid ourselves any longer.

It was a horrible dramatic experience and deeply hurtful that it hurt my spirit and plunged me into depression. Struggling to accept that God HAD to make me go through this to lead me back to him and leave that unhealthy " normal " behind and live HIS normal!!! Not coincidence I heard your words today! There is a guy, whom I met at a school I was admitted into, because I was expelled from someone's house when I was 10; 18 year later, this guy introduced me to my present day wife, Perla, who was a friend of his youger sister. That guy offered my first formal job, which I have kept for the previous 33 years already. This guy was a good friend of a lady, who turned to be my real mother (since I was stolen from her home when I was 40 days old); neither she knew that guy was a life long friend of her lost son, neither I knew he has met my mother for years before, neither he knew he was a friend of both of us, strangers to each other. Yes, ....., I need to rock, Lord.

This is crazy accurate right now. I used to join in that “I want things to get back to normal” crowd, but I realized that our normal will never be the same again. But this really helped change my mentality to look forward and to stop looking at the past. There is a purpose for everything, even if it has its cons. I rather have the now then the before. Thank you Heavenly Father.
I came to the conclusion a couple of weeks ago that I like the “new” normal. I work 6 days a week and have 3 children at home that hardly gets to see mom. I am basically a single mom and have to do everything. I am trying to pay my debts off and was cut back on one of my jobs to 1 day every week. But God has taken care of us. Things are tight financially but we are doing ok. My utilities, bills, house payment, food on the table are paid. I really thank the lord. He has blessed me beyond measure. Although right now I have to go back to working those 6 days a week probably next week but I can finally say I see an end in sight to where I can work my one job and be able to be home with my children more.

I had to budget 80 for a month while bouncing between 3 jobs and a job that strayed me from following my morals, beliefs, and Passions. ( I became a stripper on weekends). I was making over 3800 a month. One month I over shot gas $20 I asked if I could get $20 to make it until my next paycheck(s) she told me "I don't have it" she never stated to me whether she lied or was withholding truth. Yet I prayed. To this day I love her as I love all God's children. But it sure upsets me Everytime I try to get involved into my first born son's life she tries the defense of going to Court. I tell her Everytime. I trust you completely and I'll also pray and trust onto the Lord. Doesn't mean I agree I'm simply putting it into Faith and God's hands. I myself being dragged through court and doctor's being medicated at the age of 3-18 simply will never put my child under the stress of that. The guy that his Job Title is mediator is not. The Lord is the only mediator to the father. "B"we are far beyond basic scientific understanding for only God knows all purposes past, present or future. "2" You say you have 3 children? Your past the foundation of starting point. Persist forward in seeking the Lord in constant prayer and Long-suffering. Pray for thy enemy that the Lord may deliver them from evil.

I shared this with my friend because she is struggling majorly in her marriage. I'm struggling with my thoughts of being a failure because I had my leg amputated last April. I can see my mother shaking her finger in my face and telling me how I'm such, but I know I'm loved by God and friends. I'm also accomplishing learning to use my prosthesis. I just need prayer and encouragement. On the front of my prosthetic, I have written "Even If" Dan 3 and on the back I have printed multiple scripture. All this reminds me, I can't give up. I watch this message this morning and it was amazing! God spoke to my soul. I learned, laughed, cried, and praised God. I stopped going to church a long time ago but never forgot about God. I stopped serving Him for reasons many of us leave His way. Temptations of the world that at the end of it all doesnt do any good just leave us empty. Regardless of my rebellion, HE never ever left me. He kept protecting me from many things. That's how merciful God is. I did have to go through things that broke me, but I had to because I chose to leave His side. I started watching these videos a couple of weeks ago. I enjoy it and I'm learning so much. I was raised in a Pentecostal church which is way different. Elevation Church shows how it doesnt matter who you are, how you dressed or how you look. What it matter is to praise and love God. I thank God for using you to speak to many of us that need Him and have left Him.
My prayer will be for all the children of the world that are suffering or are alone. For God to protect them and for them to feel protected and loved in some way.
OH YAY! The new normal in a walk with the Lord is the BEST NEW NORMAL there is! Praise him every day, throughout the day for the little blessings and the big. Praise him every day for the little challenges and the big because he is pulling you closer to him. I've never been normal, didn't even know what normal was. I just know that Jesus delivered me from drugs and alcohol. I never felt belonged to those so call normal people. I've always look from the outside in. Isolation was my normal. So I have no problem with distancing. But wearing the mask I'm not comfortable with.
God is pouring out Himself to us...the new wine skins...the empty jars so He can pour out blessings...A new song...A right SPIRIT....HE says Look for Me and you will find Me! Awh I just Love being Loved on! We are His beloved.
It's two years later. My dad has passed on to Jesus. My mom is clear of cancer. We have sold my mom's house and moved to the other side of the US. I got my job back and live with my x. I so need that love right now.

I spent my whole childhood & early adulthood hoping & striving to be “normal” & fit in. It wasn’t until only a few years ago I realized I didn’t want to be the typical person. God made me not normal. I may not have many friends & I may not have “fun” the way others typically do anymore (when I did it brought pain & trouble into my life), but I do have a relationship with God now which has brought me a much better life, fulfillment, & joy. I’m still learning & growing daily. I’m loving that others are turning to the Lord through this time & that I can use my testimony to help point others toward Him as well.
I'm an outcast too. no friends to actually do things with that matter. nothing in common. family barely speaks. feel hated. disconnected. sprawled out. empty. no community. everyone has their own agendas that have no meaning or relevance idk. I feel lost even if I achieve goals. life seems pointless if you don't have someone to love and take care of and someone to love and take care of you
On Feb 7th I was in an accident that broke my left leg and shattered my ankle slipping on ice. Every sermon Pastor Steve has preached and I could put my hands on has answered many of my questions to our Father. Let go and let God. Thank yo so much. Hey Crystal prays gone out, now help us help you. Roll out your praise and worship music and do what James chapter said and began to praise. Why? it will calm you down and you will feel the peace of God. Just keep doing this until you are absorbed in praise and it will turn into worship. And you will grow in the Lord. I have been saying for the past 3 weeks. I just want to feel normal again. I struggle heavily with intrusive thoughts and false memories of things in my heart I know are against my character and morals but when they strike they strike hard. I have been telling my girlfriend I just want to be normal again. But I keep going back to what is safe and that’s my comfort I find in googling answers to my fears but they just cause me to go down the rabbit hole and dig myself deeper into depression and anxiety. I’ve been in a dark place but pastor you have kept me going. This one really touched me and it has given me an evening without torment. I appreciate you so much and listen all day everyday at work.
Tim. You are not alone. I’ve been feeling the same way for about the same time frame. I felt like it came out of nowhere and it threw me for a loop. I’ve been feeling depressed and can’t explain why. I just want to feel normal again just like you. I was doing the exact same thing, searching on google for anything that would tell me why and nope.. makes it worse. I have been glued to his sermons just to find a way. Tim, maybe that’s what God wants us to do huh. I guess he’s making a new normal for us. Maybe we’re meant to always keep our eyes and ears on him from here forward and that’s our new normal. Maybe the old wasn’t normal and we thought it was. He’s rebuilding us some way somehow. This is crazy accurate right now. I used to join in that “I want things to get back to normal” crowd, but I realized that our normal will never be the same again. But this really helped change my mentality to look forward and to stop looking at the past. There is a purpose for everything, even if it has its cons. I rather have the now then the before. Thank you Heavenly Father.

I came to the conclusion a couple of weeks ago that I like the “new” normal. I work 6 days a week and have 3 children at home that hardly gets to see mom. I am basically a single mom and have to do everything. I am trying to pay my debts off and was cut back on one of my jobs to 1 day every week. But God has taken care of us. Things are tight financially but we are doing ok. My utilities, bills, house payment, food on the table are paid. I really thank the lord. He has blessed me beyond measure. Although right now I have to go back to working those 6 days a week probably next week but I can finally say I see an end in sight to where I can work my one job and be able to be home with my children more.

"Def5" in my experience(s) with basic we aren't basic. With trust, faith, loyalty, tolerance, acceptance, etc. We won't be cast into the furnace like a cheap metal of this World. But exulted into the house of the Lord Forever.
"Def4" we are not a basic rock. But God is the Rock of our salvation. We should honor our Father that is in heaven.
"Def3 and b" we are far more complex than just a compound of chemicals and having an alkiline reaction. We are made in God's image. Proverbs 19:21, 16:9, 21:1 - Hebrews 12:14 - 1st Peter 5:6-7 - Matthew 19:26.

Personally I believe this states one can not exist without the other and if it does it is straying from GOD's plan.when I was with my Sons mother I gave her all but 80 bucks a month and rationed beans and rice out of my car with hard candy soda and when I could afford to move my car to the store for a small portion of fresh produce (fruits/veggies) I would. I had to budget 80 for a month while bouncing between 3 jobs and a job that strayed me from following my morals, beliefs, and Passions. ( I became a stripper on weekends). I was making over 3800 a month. One month I over shot gas $20 I asked if I could get $20 to make it until my next paycheck(s) she told me "I don't have it" she never stated to me whether she lied or was withholding truth. Yet I prayed. To this day I love her as I love all God's children. But it sure upsets me Everytime I try to get involved into my first born son's life she tries the defense of going to Court. I tell her Everytime. I trust you completely and I'll also pray and trust onto the Lord. Doesn't mean I agree I'm simply putting it into Faith and God's hands. I myself being dragged through court and doctor's being medicated at the age of 3-18 simply will never put my child under the stress of that. The guy that his Job Title is mediator is not. The Lord is the only mediator to the father.
"B"we are far beyond basic scientific understanding for only God knows all purposes past, present or future.
"2" You say you have 3 children? Your past the foundation of starting point. Persist forward in seeking the Lord in constant prayer and Long-suffering. Pray for thy enemy that the Lord may deliver them from evil.

I shared this with my friend because she is struggling majorly in her marriage. I'm struggling with my thoughts of being a failure because I had my leg amputated last April. I can see my mother shaking her finger in my face and telling me how I'm such, but I know I'm loved by God and friends. I'm also accomplishing learning to use my prosthesis. I just need prayer and encouragement. On the front of my prosthetic, I have written "Even If" Dan 3 and on the back I have printed multiple scripture. All this reminds me, I can't give up. I watch this message this morning and it was amazing! God spoke to my soul. I learned, laughed, cried, and praised God. I stopped going to church a long time ago but never forgot about God. I stopped serving Him for reasons many of us leave His way. Temptations of the world that at the end of it all doesnt do any good just leave us empty. Regardless of my rebellion, HE never ever left me. He kept protecting me from many things. That's how merciful God is. I did have to go through things that broke me, but I had to because I chose to leave His side. I started watching these videos a couple of weeks ago. I enjoy it and I'm learning so much. I was raised in a Pentecostal church which is way different. Elevation Church shows how it doesnt matter who you are, how you dressed or how you look. What it matter is to praise and love God. I thank God for using you to speak to many of us that need Him and have left Him.

I've never been normal, didn't even know what normal was. I just know that Jesus delivered me from drugs and alcohol. I never felt belonged to those so call normal people. I've always look from the outside in. Isolation was my normal. So I have no problem with distancing. But wearing the mask I'm not comfortable with.
God is pouring out Himself to us...the new wine skins...the empty jars so He can pour out blessings...A new song...A right SPIRIT....HE says Look for Me and you will find Me! Awh I just Love being Loved on! We are His beloved.
It's two years later. My dad has passed on to Jesus. My mom is clear of cancer. We have sold my mom's house and moved to the other side of the US. I got my job back and live with my x. I so need that love right now.

I spent my whole childhood & early adulthood hoping & striving to be “normal” & fit in. It wasn’t until only a few years ago I realized I didn’t want to be the typical person. God made me not normal. I may not have many friends & I may not have “fun” the way others typically do anymore (when I did it brought pain & trouble into my life), but I do have a relationship with God now which has brought me a much better life, fulfillment, & joy. I’m still learning & growing daily. I’m loving that others are turning to the Lord through this time & that I can use my testimony to help point others toward Him as well.
jesus only had 12 friends, and one was a devil, keep growing in the faith, god bless you

On Feb 7th I was in an accident that broke my left leg and shattered my ankle slipping on ice.

I have been saying for the past 3 weeks. I just want to feel normal again. I struggle heavily with intrusive thoughts and false memories of things in my heart I know are against my character and morals but when they strike they strike hard. I have been telling my girlfriend I just want to be normal again. But I keep going back to what is safe and that’s my comfort I find in googling answers to my fears but they just cause me to go down the rabbit hole and dig myself deeper into depression and anxiety. I’ve been in a dark place but pastor you have kept me going. This one really touched me and it has given me an evening without torment. I appreciate you so much and listen all day everyday at work.
Tim. You are not alone. I’ve been feeling the same way for about the same time frame. I felt like it came out of nowhere and it threw me for a loop. I’ve been feeling depressed and can’t explain why. I just want to feel normal again just like you. I was doing the exact same thing, searching on google for anything that would tell me why and nope.. makes it worse. I have been glued to his sermons just to find a way. Tim, maybe that’s what God wants us to do huh. I guess he’s making a new normal for us. Maybe we’re meant to always keep our eyes and ears on him from here forward and that’s our new normal. Maybe the old wasn’t normal and we thought it was. He’s rebuilding us some way somehow.
