    I just found you, too! I having been throwing for about 10 months - sometimes it works; many times, it doesn't. Love your tips. Can you share what kind of clay you use? I was working with some clay from a pottery peer and it was SO dense that my hands hurt from trying to center it. Thank you!

    It's not centripetal.
    It's centrifugal that makes things go outwards.
