Cilantro is great for cheating heavy metals out of the body… parsley too! I’m getting the rest of my summer stuff in the ground and hopefully planting a fun pumpkin patch tomorrow 🌱🎃🌱
I had never heard that about the heavy metals... Thank you so much for sharing !
Hi Tina, how often do you use your Jobes fertile once the plants are up and growing good?
Usually lightly once a week, but I vary the amounts according to how the plants reacted tot he previous feeding... Sometime I even skip feedings if they are doing good...
Feel the same about cilantro. Where do you get your bucket tags? Is it self watering?
The buckets are from ULine and the self watering inserts (including the tags) are from GroTechGarden...
Hi Tina, Thank you for sharing info about cilantro! Blessings to you and your family!🕊✝🙏🏼💖
Same to you! We sure appreciate your support!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Cilantro in every form but I have the same reaction with the smell of Papaya. 🤮
I always learn so much from you. Thanks for sharing.
I'm so glad! Thank you so much for your support Georgia !
Cilantro smells like stink bug to me.
That is an excellent way to put it !
I've got a Cilantro story.
We used to enjoy this Resturant called Harry's.
He started featuring a Ti Food Thursdays.
We all ordered delicious sounding Dishes. When they arrived we all dug in,I quickly put my fork down and went for my napkin.
My Friends looked at me like how could you stop eating!
I said I think they put soap in my Food😨. That's when I learned that Ti Food is peppered with Cilantro and I get a Soap reaction 😝.
JO JO IN VT 😆💕
Oh wow! I have heard of others having that same reaction....
Did Tina have a bad experience with cilantro and tequila in her past? 😬
LOL... I think Mark has some stories that start like that... ahahaha

So nice to see you back Carolyn ! Blessings !
Hi good morning
Good morning to you too Lily !
Hi Tina!! Your bucket 🪣 🪣 🪣 garden looks great!!
Yes, thanks !
Do you let the plants go to seed? The seed is called coriander. The seeds are best harvested, dried on paper towels and stored whole, in jars in a cool dark place. The flavor disapates quickly if the seeds are ground before being stored so it's better if they are kept whole in storage. You may like the flavor and aroma of the seeds much better than the plant. Crush and add a few whole seeds to a hot dry skillet and toast the seeds then add them to a cup of hot water for tea with a bit of honey and lemon if you like. You'll be suprised at the difference between the seed and the plant. Keep having fun and continue sharing. Thanks.
You are absolutely correct, and we like to use the seeds (coriander) in our sauerkraut when we are making it Bavarian style. You are also on point with the flavor loss when grinding. It is actually oxidizing, and the more air it is exposed to (like the increased surface area after grinding) the faster it breaks down... Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment...
I like dried cilantro. Fresh doesn’t taste like soap to me like some say but I just don’t like it that much.
Alone, I hate it... But salsa just doesnt taste right without it, so its a necessary evil here...
Almost was not going to watch this because I also hate the smell of cilantro, can not even eat it, tastes like soap. Can use the coriander seeds and powder, but the green plant, smells horrible.
Agreed ! I ONLY like it in salsa...
Lol. Cilantro is either you love it or hate it. I love it the husband hates it. I keep growing though cuz it’s MY garden😂😂 Happy growing!!
LOL... That and salsa just doesnt taste the same without it...
@@BumbleBeeJunction I mostly make a large batch of sofrito. I freeze it in ice cube trays then pop them out and use them in all sorts of dishes. Rice and beans, soups, stews, sauces. Delicious!
OMG...You got a man? No , shit I am married. Opps
Alas, I too am married... ahahaha With grandchildren... But I certainly appreciate your support !

Try adding some phosphorus (bone meal) as it helps with the flowering process...
Added it in the beginning I'll add more this is in container garden the plant was root bound when I bought it thought maybe that had something to do with it thank you so much for responding you inspire me ✌💚🙏
I love cilantro. The thing is….you either love it or hate it. Some people say it tastes like soap to them. You’re the first person I’ve ever heard say you don’t like the smell but you eat it anyway. Lol.
LOL... Alone, I don't care for it... BUT... Salsa just doesn't taste the same without it... So I think on it as a necessary evil... ahaha
@@BumbleBeeJunction . BTW. I love your daughter welcoming us to the video. Her pronunciation of Junction is so cute and she smiles so big after she says it. Like she practiced it for the video. I smile every time I see her. What a sweetie!
Ah to be so young... Alas, that is our granddaughter Ms Adalyn who appears at the beginning and end of the videos (different ages)... LOL But she is such a dear heart... Thank you for the kind words !
@@BumbleBeeJunction . She is adorable and brightens up my day with her beautiful, bubbly smile.
You either like it or hate it!
LOL... I hate it, but I like it in salsa... ahaha
It taste like soap to me.
