Thx! Interesting project. Never saw a disk brake on a 3-wheeler before. Good idea. Actually I was looking for some guidance on removing / replacing the ball bearings in the tube. Did U use a puller or a long drift to get them out? It didn't look like the bearings were a press fit onto the axle shaft. I'm refurbishing a Miami Sun (3-wheel) that sat in an unheated (Michigan) garage for years. The grease in the bearings has turned hard like plastic. They're clicking and popping and squealing. Pls advise.

Michael, I used a inside bearing puller for the 2 outside bearings, took a 5" x 5" x 1/2" plywood and drilled a 1 3/8" hole in the center so the bearing would slide through it when I pulled it out. the plywood is for putting the bearing puller supports on. once the outside bearings are out, used a 1" x 1" x 12" piece of wood to slide through the tube, and gently hammered with rubber mallet, bearings popped right out

@@double-amputeervtv5132 Thx! Your video was super-helpful, with removing the keyed sprocket and all. Your description of how you adapted a puller to do the job [pulling the bearings] was very inventive. Thank you. I found the bearings I need at Grainger. 35 mm OD, 15 mm ID. I ended up driving the old bearings out with a long metal rod I use for my holiday yard display. Stay safe!

@@double-amputeervtv5132 Yikes! Sorry to hear about your procedure. On this end, however the gearhead in me multiplied your 1.375 hole by 25.4 and voila! 34.925mm! Ha. So I know you're shooting straight with us. Excellent! Stay with a healthy diet and you should get a lotta, lotta mileage out of those stents. Thanks so much for your guidance. My new bearings should be in the mail tomorrow. Cheers!

Where did you order the 17mm axle? I know those Schwinn Meridians come with 17mm axles NOT 5/8". The 17mm axle is combined with 4 6003rs bearings.

@@double-amputeervtv5132 Oh wow, that's exactly what I needed. For some reason my axle was wobbling all over. I changed bearings and check wheel "trueness" and When I pulled the axle it couldn't roll on a flat surface it was so bent. Thank you!

If you search for husky trike parts it will show up, they sell the 15mm and the 17mm. I finished my trike and the trailer, will try to post some pics, RUclips wouldn't let me upload any more vids, so I gave up
