hi Chris, I am Bajan, a Scarboro boy and a subscriber for many years. Thanks for visiting Bdos. Some of the people are camera shy but all will show you love. Enjoy
I love Barbados! I have never encountered a rude person there. Everyone is so friendly and fun of life. One of the friendliest/ most beautiful islands I've ever visited.❤❤❤
Hi Chris thanks for showing Barbados my father home, you beat to Barbados.my dad last name was Bend and I have family there I never seen Dad said I have a sister born about 1950.hope to visit soon .stay peaceful Barbados may God bless you.
Seeing all the other Caribbean countries you been to, I can say that Barbados landscape and housing seems much similar to Belize than the other countries. Thanks for sharing my brother. Love from Belize 🫡🇧🇿
Barbados is more like the Bahamas 🇧🇸 and Bermuda 🇧🇲 ..I❤ love it. I've meet the other Caribbean people they hated the Bajans back then i could never understand why. Now the whole world loves them Bajans and Barbados isn't that incredible there's a lesson there for the haters from some of Barbados neighboring islands. Barbados is a mad kool island, we never felt scared in Barbados. It has a vibrant, bustling culture. They're not angry like the others. Also the most shapely women in the west indies. Big difference from Antigua😊 🇦🇬. Barbados became a republic and just exploded onto the world stage. Its been non stop shining for them. We need more love in the Caribbean. We need the bigger larger territories to stop the hate and the division.. This is why Barbados has over taken you in every aspects. We all need to be more like Barbados. Oil ,size or richness is nothing if your people are not good people. ❤❤ to the Diamond of the westindies our neighbor to the south. Seriously i love the energy of bajan people.
@@PapineBossBarbados is generally chill. Yes theres violence but not as much as other Caribbean countries. Every island has there problems but compared to others islands bajans doing good enough. Its not over hyping its just facts.
I was looking for my father's house to see if you passed Bank Hall Cross Rd...loving the vibez, living the people, loving the walking without a plan. Bim ready for part 2. Stay blessed, Chris👍🏼💜🙏🏽
Hey @Chris. My wife and i stayed there last November. We love it and will definitely be coming back. The people are very friendly and pleasant. And the place is a paradise ✨️.
From one Torontonian to another, I'm jealous! We've been to Barbados 3 x, my wife's grandmother had a house up in St. Peter, the gold coast ...Barbados holds a special place in my heart...I love the Rum Bar's and the Chattel houses so colorful....and the beaches ....
Loving these Barbados videos. Hope you visit Guyana next, that's my home country! There's some good known guides out there that can should you some of the cool places out in the jungle, or stay within the hustle & bustle in my city Georgetown & the food is good out there.
I was in Barbados last year for a couple of weeks. It’s one of the most beautiful countries I’ve ever been to. 😍 Bajan people are so welcoming, genuine and nice. I could honestly picture myself living there one day.
I'm from Barbados and we basically live where you vacation.... We're nice, even those may appear rough, we're a loving country. However bad things happen and that's everywhere you go
Try St.Lawrence Gap and Oistins if u haven’t as yet….also Savvy on the Beach.Welcome to Barbados and enjoy the weather the beaches and the food bro💪🏾💯🇧🇧
That's my people and that is how we are naturally, we're so proud of our culture and love making sure visitors enjoy their stay. We have always been respectful and welcoming to tourists, especially our returns from the Canada, UK and American, Germany. ❤❤❤❤ Being respectful is taught in schools and at home. I reside in Canada and I visit every year, and I've also shared your video with my fam there. The guy in blue is right we grew up with Caucasians on the island, and they have also been our main tourists on the island.

Observations 1. You should have kept straight instead of turning left at the bridge, would have been in town way earlier. 2. You passed one of the best places to eat on your way to the Chinese store a place called Diras. 3. If you had more time, we could have linked up and I would be more than happy to tell you all about Bridgetown. 4. While we are generally a friendly people, there is still that crime element out there so be safe.
Yes, enjoy your visit to Bim, saw you all over in Hatian, Trinidad, and jamaican videos. Glad to see you in my home country....Also correct Bridgetown is the Capital. Getting home sick watching it's been a few years.
been to Barbados several times… acted as sponsor for a medical student daughter of a friend/colleague in the states … beautiful wonderful people and place
Next time you are in Bridgetown and looking for place to eat ..go to Mustards restaurant at the bottom of Broad Street , it has been there for decades and serves authentic Bajan food to enjoy while overlooking the city from upstairs.
This was a great video Chris and it’s just like the rest of the videos you deleted. I don’t see how this is any different as far as quality? It’s all amazing!
There’s no place in Barbados that’s truly dangerous. Yes, we have "blocks"-spots where people hang out, lime, smoke, drink, and sometimes sell drugs-but these areas don’t pose any real threat to random strangers. Like most countries, we experience rival conflicts, but it’s more accurate to describe them as retaliation wars. For someone just walking through, there’s no need to feel unsafe anywhere on the island. As Bajans, we’re naturally curious (some might say nosey), so if you’re new, we’ll probably want to know who you are and where you’re from. But beyond that, you’ll find that we’re very friendly and always willing to help. Just don’t act like you’re more important than us-we’ll cuss you fast for that!
Thanks to the pandemic. Most businesses used to close at 10 pm or later, we used to have lots of activity on the streets all into the morning, now nobody wants to go back. These days Bim look like a ghost town by 8:30 pm for real dread. In some areas by sundown. SMH. Not good for tourism in my opinion!!! Who wants to visit a ghost town????😢
