My friend has recently become addicted to the Rubik's cube lol he does it all the time during class and even break, I just messaged him on Facebook and he said he was busy doing the cube. The funny thing is he has been getting really good at it lol his fastest time is 58 seconds without a speed cube. He's only been doing it for 2 weeks.
2 days of playing with my first cube and I had the yellow face sorted.......... suddenly a wild 18mth old appears and twists all that work away!!!! This video and this guys skill is simply epic. I will solve this little cube but expect it to take weeks!
They aren't Rubik's brand cubes. They are special speed cubes designed specifically for speed solving, and are lubed with silicone. They can also be set to the tension you want, to allow better corner cutting and reduce locking, etc. However, if you want to make your Rubik's brand, or whatever you have good, just lube it with silicone and solve it a lot to break it in.
So I just watched RUclips Rewind, I think next year should be Rubiks cube Rewind. So if RUclips did it with famous youtubers, then Rubiks cube should gather all famous cubers on youtube and world champions! Rubiks cube Rewind starring Feliks Zemdegs, Michal Pleskowicz, Mats Valk, Marcell Endrey, RedKB, CrazyBadCuber, Simon Westlund, JRCuber, Convinsa, Cyoubx, and other famous rubiks cuber on youtube etc...
Does he use the f2l method or what? Can someone comment a link to a faster method then f2l or do I just keep practicing, and I know u can get better cubes as well, I've got one coming in the mail, it's a zanche or however you spell it
An algorithm is a defined process to solve a problem. In rubik's cube that "problem" is usually placing one/more pieces in another place or changing the way one piece is facing. Multiple algorithms are used until the cube is solved.
I want to know his algorithms. He can't be using CFOP because, almost all of his moves only R,U,R', and U'. He may add a cube rotation in every once in a while, but not too many.
You just can't see it properly. Besides CFOP he uses many other algorithms like OLLCP, VLS etc. He is using F and B, M D etc, you just can't see it because he's too fast. Try watching '10tricks in 10 days' video by Feliks. You'll see how he does the algorithms and the speed of it
Most amazing mental feat I have ever witnessed! That's UNREAL! I played with that thing for years as a teenager in the 80's and the best I could ever get was almost 2 sides. Yeesh! This kid is going to be very, very rich as a CEO or Scientist or something. That's unreal!
You realise that with a few hours practise almost anyone can solve a cube in under a minute? But yeah, to do it as fast as him takes years of dedication and some serious motor skills.
Rodrigo Castellon trust me that's what I thought but a dumb person would take AGES to get sub 10, I mean it requires very high visual skills plus recognition skills plus finger dexterity, I mean it would just take too long for a dumb person to put in the effort to get sub 10 :/
zargodc I'm just saying it's kind of a misconception that you need to be good at math and really smart to solve the rubik's cube really fast. It all really comes down to motivation and practice.
Rodrigo Castellon I understand what you mean and you're right, you only need to be good at solving it fast rather than being smart. I know someone who is great at maths but could never grasp the concept of a Rubik's cube. But what I mean is some people don't have the determination to get sub-10.
No it isn't, this is just a bit under his normal average, 7 second solves he only gets with a bit of luck. Why did he clap on that 7.36? Because of this
Look at his arm... And the muscles
Solves cubes in between solving cubes... Like a true cuber.
TheProgrammingCuber Lol tpc
Feliks - 7 seconds
Me - 30 + years and I still haven't solved it
The average is so impressive

Ya I know a kid whose doing the same thing
sub 60 within 2 weeks of cubing. Impressive....
3 years later, I was doing the same thing. It took me 2 months however to get sub-60. A year after (now), I’m sub-20 with a 10.56 PB Single
What do they lubricate the cube with?
Awsome video!
Nice work. Do you also have videos of the other finalists ?
Did he use a zhanchi?
I know I'm fast at under a minute. But to have an average time at under 10 seconds is amazing. Feliks is the man!!
it's so stressful with all the viewers.
good job feliks!
What do you get for winning?
Pussy
Feralzi LOL
Feralzi damn
0:32 cute moment 😂

dwaynE2099 I just learned how to solve it and it took me a month
HOW MUCH practice do you need?!?! I think I should memorize all the PLLs before I ask again =p
Wow. Look how nervous he is. His hands are shaking like crazy!
I guess it never gets easy to perform like that in front of a huge audience.

Ive had one of these for 10 years and i still havent done it
😱😱😱 it took me 3!!!! 3 years to solve mine and it takes you 8!!!!! Seconds
Mackmetutorials Mia And 3 years later?
2:13 to 2:17, "Come on Feliks... SHHHH"
Look at his damn tendons in his arms fuck! lightning fast
Wow. I never knew the cube could be solved with such intensity.
Absolutely amazing!
these cubes must be modified or dripping with grease cause mine is stiff and stagy
Dog
What cube was used?
Assassin's Weed zhanchi
+Cadcube7 isn't it a guhong or guhong v2? i don't think feliks ever had a black zhanchi
its in the description in the video he posted on his channel
What's it look like now?
How does he do it so fast? That was amazing! ;)
He does not move the 2 layers by his fingers if u look closely so all he does is back track i did that once and it also took me between 7-8 secs
So I just watched RUclips Rewind, I think next year should be Rubiks cube Rewind. he uses fridrich: cross f2l oll pll
CFOP is pretty fast. Most cubers use CFOP so stick with that unless something else tickles your fancy
He looks so nervous. It's a good thing he managed to control himself this time.
Most people can't even answer questions or think at the speed that he solves these puzzles.
He's not thinking too fast, we just need to catch up.
i love this!
U dont need to think much for solving a cube its just the stress on your muscle movement cuz the moves ar memorised through algorithms
It’s just reflexes for him
How old is this kid?
I think from 16 -18 years old
born in 1995
What does algorithm mean
Rubix :)
it is a set of rules or process. There are many different algorithms for how to solve a rubik's cube
An algorithm is a defined process to solve a problem. In rubik's cube that "problem" is usually placing one/more pieces in another place or changing the way one piece is facing. Multiple algorithms are used until the cube is solved.
Great Job!
at worlds he used a dayan zanchi with probably Lubix but idk and i believe his Main now is a weilong or a sulong
Here, let me put down this Rubik's Cube so I can solve another Rubik's Cube.
What cube is that
What was his cube there ?
Can I ask a question .
My question is
What is he seeing on the device
which device
Shahd Youssef he’s looking at the time he got on the timer
What cube is that?
Was that a weilong
Does anybody know what kind of lube is he using?
I can't solve a rubix cube in a year, this guy just did it in 7-8 secs. Q_Q
He holds the world record with 5.56 sec
***** but he recently set a new world record of 5.33 s, but a corner twisted and it's a DNF you should look for hiz video
Haha, yes that was nice
*Rubik's
Feliks, you are my idol!
I want to know his algorithms. He can't be using CFOP because, almost all of his moves only R,U,R', and U'. He may add a cube rotation in every once in a while, but not too many.

That video quality!!! :O
Guy shouts F*ck you! @ 2:14
He says "Go on, Felix!".
I just do not understand how this is physically possible. Wow
Holding my 3x3x3 cube and did it 7 hours
What sorcery is this?
Extremely fast Rubix Cube solve!
Same school, house, and class as this guy. He is pretty quiet but super smart.
What cube is he using??
I'm pretty sure it is the MoYu Weilong. But I'm not 100%
Damian Bias Me too, i'm not sure because it sounds like a moyu but looks like a zhanchi LOL
Superb!!!!!
I just... Love him. Omg.
WOW practice makes perfect !
Fake! He is no chinese!
Was du nicht sagst..
***** whatever you can, whatever you do, there's a chinese who makes it better than you
***** you should see this as a kompliment ;)
Robert M. Lols
He solves them quicker than I can scramble them
Same lmao

PerfectSnowball
not sub 1 minute... more like 2-4 minutes at first
Ive seen so many asians do it extremely fast and i never expected a non asian to do it in under 10 sec.
You don't even have to be smart so solve it, you can be dumb and still follow instructions right?
Rodrigo Castellon trust me that's what I thought but a dumb person would take AGES to get sub 10, I mean it requires very high visual skills plus recognition skills plus finger dexterity, I mean it would just take too long for a dumb person to put in the effort to get sub 10 :/

Feliks is the best
thank U! but it did not work on the first try... i watched a lesson on сoursmos... and it helped me to solve the rubik's cube faster...
Amazing
Lol that dude in the red cap try'd like hell for a hand shake kept getting blocked lol!
He actually got a small one at 3:40
Lol I paused the video to read some comments and I saw somebody saying pause at 1.15. I had it paused on 1.15 xD
Awesome!!!!!
Waow .. the talent u have got *_*
I bought my rubiks cube. I was playing around and messed it up by accident. It's been one year and I still haven't solved it.
Is he from Israel?
sydney, australlia
austrailia melbourne
Minecraftdude60 he's born in melbourne
Gabin Kim ok i was confused because i forgot that was a competition
Minecraftdude60 ok:)
Awesome.
Silicone. There are a ton of different kinds that are basically the same. I prefer Calvin's high viscosity lube from hknowstore.
you can tell he's disappointed with himself
No it isn't, this is just a bit under his normal average, 7 second solves he only gets with a bit of luck. Why did he clap on that 7.36? Because of this
You Jelly?
He just posted a sub7 average of 100 to facebook....
I've never even fully solved a rubik's cube
Awesome
Solve 3: Dang, Dat A Permutation is fast...
For Feliks, this is actually a bit slow, isn't it?
SUPER
I cant write my name out in 8 seconds...
Your friend awesome
you make it look like child's play :|
one day i'll be able to do that too lol :D
אדיר!!!
Man he is sooooo fast!!!!!!!!!!He is 7 sec and i am about 1 min!
This looks more like a contest of hand dexterity than mental acuity.
Of course that's what it looks like. You can't see mental acuity, can you?
Tom Maguire Cubing isn't really brainpower, anyone can solve a cube. However to get GOOD at cubing, well that takes a lot of time and skill.
it's take a year for me to solves that rubik's cube. lol
2:43
Random dude: FELIKS!! I LUV U!!!!
How can the damn cube move like AIR?!?!
Mine's still so rough even when it's greased already xP
It's not a Rubik's Brand cube.
It's probably a Dayan ZhanChi
It's funny how he solves them quicker than I can scramble them :( Makes me feel like a rubix noob.
charlie is a ninja
what
That was the idea. :-D
Solves Rubik's cube in 7 seconds me never solves Rubik's cube in my life
#BEAST
I feel sorry for Mats, I mean he could have had it, the penalty 2 seconds was terrible but imagine the pressure....
cool bro yay
enserio Feliks es el mas rapido del mundo ? o.o
I used to think I was a bad ass because I could solve the cube from any mixed position in under two minutes.
I don't think that anymore. lol
sip I like friend your a game...??
This was good on 360......
Can he like solve mine i can give you 5 bucks deal?
Its fake no one can move thier fingers that fast doing the rubiks cube
Caitlyn Bouckley its real haha, you need to know about the world of speed cubing mate
I know it’s 9 years later but, I average 9 seconds and my fastest time is 4.90 :)
