I absolutely LOVE the subversion at 3:48, like you’ve been taught that the miner’s beats have a shaker sound for 4-1 and most of 4-1N but it tops it all off with a normal beat as the final beat you see with the miner. It also implies in universe that you helped this guy so much that you had to go from using an extreme version of the defibrillation method to being able to normally do so.

Held notes seem like they could be really chaotic in custom levels

I love how the two levels that use the dancing window are pewnnh much opposite in tone. All The Times is aesthetic, emotional and powerful, while this is just a funky chiptune that even the window can't help but jive to.
I honestly prefer this moving screen level to all the times. It honestly helps me keep rhythm and adds to the music instead of being a distraction.
Yeah, this is probably my favorite level in the game. Not only is the moving screen an automatic bonus, but the gameplay is easy to learn, FUN to master.
Funny, Cause I found focusing on the audio more helped a lot with keepin time and rhythm

They did an awesome job with the dancing window
the full power of the Windows API is impressive however it’s normally used just for stuff like the close button, maximize button, minimize button, title bar, icon in the taskbar, window width and height plus some other stuff I probably missed but this takes it to the next level and beyond

@@qwertyuiop.lkjhgfdsa if I remember correctly there is an experimental part of the Windows 11 API that allows window rotating, however I may be wrong since I use 10
And i thought all the times was the only level with a moving window in story mode

this level is literally a masterpiece in game design. easily my favorite level in the game
2:35 to 3:06 is probably my favorite part in the game honestly
Recently got S+ on this stage. Huge amount of fun, definitely my favorite.

Hold notes are easier with the mouse which you can’t use on this level and yes it is not just space you can use.

Alright, I'm gonna be honest
This is my last achievement in the game, was practicing and hadn't missed up until the 3:21 part, where the heart completely broke. I don't know why but that part breaks my brain beyond words. Even Super Battleworn Insomniac didn't do this to me, all I had to do for that was just find a simple rhythm to keep at, since that's basically the rest of the song after the heart gets a chunk ripped off.But that one part in this song... and especially since this song is one of the longest ones, 1-XN is only a minute and a half I believe, and half of it is easy. This song being 4 minutes and the last 30 seconds being really difficult makes this so much worse to go for S+ in
One thing I don't like about the RD levels is the fact that they are long enough that failing means re-doing 4 minutes of a level lol. That's why I just settle for full A+ instead of full S+
Its more of an endurance test

Doesn't quite work with this level but i found for All The Times that closing my eyes and tapping to the rhythm was much easier. My eyes threw off my timings.

The slow part really flows with the rest of the song! And when they do it together is very good! I really like the flow of the music and the level.

rollerdisco rumble is challenging but consistent, personally i find 3-4N much harder, and also 2-2 and 2-X are much more inconsistent for me

The tutorial for 4-1N that was skipped at the start actually teaches you about that mechanic so you definitely know about it going into the level.

Held beats automatically press other beats becuase you only use one button (the SPACEBAR) which the 4-1N tutorial shows
