I think this really made me remember why I fell in love with pokemon in the first place. I was around 7 when I first played pokemon diamond. Playing pokemon was pretty much the only time where I could do whatever I wanted. Go biking? Do contests? Take down terrorist organizations? No one could stop me! Just me and my piplup vs the world.
I deleted all of my social media accounts yesterday and have been spending lots of time in nature listening to this. I haven’t felt this free and contempt with life since I was a child. Thanks Glitchxcity for making lifting, running, and hiking extra special for me.

It's strange that when we play a kanto game we leave pallet town in just 1 minute but when we hear the theme it feels like we spent our entire childhood in that town and get nostalgia.
I'm gonna miss the 3ds. There's always gonna be something special about carrying entire worlds in my pocket that I can jump into in a matter of seconds. I'm excited for home console games, but there's a magic to this first era of Pokemon that I don't think will ever be truly recaptured. However, music like this takes me right back to those magical days exploring the corners of every region, catching new friends, and doing impossible things with them. Thank you for this beautiful nostalgia trip.
@@noahlytle5330 my first game was yellow, I'm 28 now. Me and my son play ROMs on the emulator now, and I'm glad he gets to experience the Pokemon world in a very similar way that I did. These early gen games were VERY ahead of their time.

I wasnt ready for that 1st song. It took me back to a bad part of my childhood. Pokemon on the gameboy took me away from the surroundings that suffocated my young childhood. Instanly broke down in tears. now 29 and couldnt be happier with the outcome. Stay strong out there and remember, you are 100% in control of 1 thing in this Universe. Your mind.
You mean sun/moon right? I liked that game, but battle tree pulled all kinds of haxes against me so I stopped doing that part. Still enjoyed rest of the game though! And I played as a female MC since her fashions and hair styles are much better.
Me too. I originally had a much more negative outlook on it but with every new playthrough I came to love it more and more. Plus it gave me my favorite Pokémon, Minior! 😊⭐️

This takes me back to the good old days. After school ended we took out our systems, and were ready to take on the world. We used a team of Pokémon and each had a special nickname so we could remember them. From the starter to the legend was its own world, one to hide in when my parents where fighting. Knowing my totodile would never leave me. Thank you for taking me back 🥺🥺

Same here! Diamond was my first main series Pokemon game and I have so many amazing memories of the game! Such an excellent game! I am a huge 4th gen Stan and I don't care that it mainly has to due with nostalgia.

Memories of Pokémon Fire Red, and remembering when I caught a pikachu in viridian forest and boasted to all my friends Pokémon battles were fun, my Charizard vs my friend’s Blastoise, awesome music can bring back awesome memories
I had the same thing! except it was Pokemon Blue! I remember watching the anime and always wanted a pikachu then i found one in viridian forest and was SO excited! then pokemon yellow came out and you started with one XD damn i'm old. its really crazy to see the same nostalgia that I get with my first pokemon game (gen 1) is the same as people talking about diamond and pearl! its amazing what they have done with all of these games.

I still remember the first time I played pokemon. I was like 7 years when Santa Claus brought me leaf green. it was simply the best thing that happened in my life. now I am 24 y/o and I rarely play pokemon since sun/moon bc I don't have much time with studies and job. I really miss those years and the feeling of being capable of anything. its so sad to grow up and realize the real and adult world. pokemon has made my childhood so happy. This brings me back to a much simpler time in life. I was about five or six when red and blue got launched stateside. I had a horrible childhood, and this game really was an escape even at a young age. I couldnt wait until i was ten years old to start my very own pokemon adventure. What i would have given to leave my hometown with my own very best friend and start an adventure where anything could happen. Even though i hated my hometown.....i miss pallet town.
First song- For those kids who actually played Red and Blue (Yellow included) on GameBoy Color console. Remember when you took those very first steps outta town and got stopped by the Professor who proceeded to give you your very first pokemon that eventually took you on a very long but rewarding journey? Second Song- For every version, there has to be a pokemon center. Stepping into that very place you actually feel relieved, especially if your pokemon has status effects inflicted on em (Poisoned especially) Actual fact- You visited the pokemon center way WAY more often then you visit your mom/parents back in your hometown Third Song- What can I say? Bug pokemon contest. Fourth song- You step into town, and you realized there are a lot of high rise buildings, which incidentally confuses the hell out of you. But then the music hits you and somehow amid all that confusion, you start to wander all around town and explore (And of course, TV station guys) Fifth Song- Your very hometown in the Sinnoh region, where your very best friend Barry, that one kid who is headstrong yet kind hearted (I shall fine you a million dollars!), who set off together with you. would eventually become your rival/best friend Sixth Song- Stepping into the forest, originally to defeat the hideous people from a villainous organisation, you wander about and found an old Mansion called the Old Chateau. It all seems so weird... The Tv, the dinning room, the ghosts of a butler and a little girl. Little that you know there is a terrible backstory to this tale... But you carried on your journey after exploring and finding items left abandoned in the halls, never to look back at the place (Well until you get the national dex and you'll be back for the rotom) I didn't reached past the area for the seventh song onwards. Those who have can carry on contributing your memorable moments in the comments XD
Just a beautiful sentiment to what Pokemon actually is. It's not just a game, or a show, or a manga, or just an entertainment franchise. It's an experience that has affected the lives of so many.
I remember playing Pokemon Yellow thinking how fun it was to go around on a journey choosing your friends and battling all obstacles of life, little did I know then that the Pokemon games truly shaped my way of thinking through life!
This track reminded me of why I loved Sun and Moon as well as the Pokemon franchise. Amazing work! I am sure that I will listen to this countless times. Also the, "Goodbye Alola" theme and, "Brand New World" theme are too good.

I first watched the show, and then got the games as an Xmas gift: Red, Blue, and Yellow. My parents must've known those were the first Pokemon games ever made. On that Xmas day back in 2005 I played Pokemon Yellow and caught a Caterpie just like Ash! :)
I have made so many memories of pokemon. My newest memory is Cindrace, my best, most loyal partner I had ever had. He won the champion cup for me, and he has been with me ever since.

For real though. I understand, and it's perfectly reasonable why people are upset about the game. But there are some people who take it to far and hate on those who are just genuinely excited for the game.
Exactly! Before Gen 5's launch, I remember speculating with friends at lunch about how insane and groundbreaking it was for a Fire type (Emboar) to learn a Water move. I was also excited to see brand new Pokémon, and probably would've traded anything for a Pidove... Those times are gone, but never forgotten.
I'm upset about the whole ordeal, and I've seen people rant about, but I've yet to see anyone belittle someone for their choice of buying it. I just personally hope it tanks as much as a Pokemon game can.

Ah...Pallet Town song...took me back when i was playing the gameboy advanced Pokemon LeafGreen, sent by my grandma when i was a little girl. She got me hooked onto Pokemon. Just last year I lost my grandma back in Feburary and I was crushed and these Pokemon music is bringing back those memories

I had the same thing! except it was Pokemon Blue! I remember watching the anime and always wanted a pikachu then i found one in viridian forest and was SO excited! then pokemon yellow came out and you started with one XD
damn i'm old. its really crazy to see the same nostalgia that I get with my first pokemon game (gen 1) is the same as people talking about diamond and pearl! its amazing what they have done with all of these games.

I still remember the first time I played pokemon. I was like 7 years when Santa Claus brought me leaf green. it was simply the best thing that happened in my life. now I am 24 y/o and I rarely play pokemon since sun/moon bc I don't have much time with studies and job. I really miss those years and the feeling of being capable of anything. its so sad to grow up and realize the real and adult world. pokemon has made my childhood so happy. I will be always be thankful to nintendo for that.

This brings me back to a much simpler time in life. I was about five or six when red and blue got launched stateside. I had a horrible childhood, and this game really was an escape even at a young age. I couldnt wait until i was ten years old to start my very own pokemon adventure. What i would have given to leave my hometown with my own very best friend and start an adventure where anything could happen. Even though i hated my hometown.....i miss pallet town.

First song- For those kids who actually played Red and Blue (Yellow included) on GameBoy Color console. Remember when you took those very first steps outta town and got stopped by the Professor who proceeded to give you your very first pokemon that eventually took you on a very long but rewarding journey?
Second Song- For every version, there has to be a pokemon center. Stepping into that very place you actually feel relieved, especially if your pokemon has status effects inflicted on em (Poisoned especially) Actual fact- You visited the pokemon center way WAY more often then you visit your mom/parents back in your hometown
Third Song- What can I say? Bug pokemon contest.
Fourth song- You step into town, and you realized there are a lot of high rise buildings, which incidentally confuses the hell out of you. But then the music hits you and somehow amid all that confusion, you start to wander all around town and explore (And of course, TV station guys)
Fifth Song- Your very hometown in the Sinnoh region, where your very best friend Barry, that one kid who is headstrong yet kind hearted (I shall fine you a million dollars!), who set off together with you. would eventually become your rival/best friend
Sixth Song- Stepping into the forest, originally to defeat the hideous people from a villainous organisation, you wander about and found an old Mansion called the Old Chateau. It all seems so weird... The Tv, the dinning room, the ghosts of a butler and a little girl. Little that you know there is a terrible backstory to this tale... But you carried on your journey after exploring and finding items left abandoned in the halls, never to look back at the place (Well until you get the national dex and you'll be back for the rotom)
I didn't reached past the area for the seventh song onwards. Those who have can carry on contributing your memorable moments in the comments XD

I am very satisfied and happy I was able to find this video. When I say this, a lot of you will think of clicking the dislike button, but to be very honest, I am disappointed at the part where most of the selections were from Diamond and pearl. There ARE people out there in the world who liked the other generations you know, like how I myself loved the Hoenn region with all my heart, which none of the region's songs were listed in this Mix. I am not trying to offend the Diamond and Pearl lovers, but I hope you all would understand me even a tiny bit. (This is just my opinion i do not really take this seriously just to let yall know) ( >.< )

Thank you for making this :) it brings back so many memories. I remember falling in love with Pokemon many years ago. I first watched the show, and then got the games as an Xmas gift: Red, Blue, and Yellow. My parents must've known those were the first Pokemon games ever made. On that Xmas day back in 2005 I played Pokemon Yellow and caught a Caterpie just like Ash! :)

For real though. I understand, and it's perfectly reasonable why people are upset about the game. But there are some people who take it to far and hate on those who are just genuinely excited for the game.
Exactly! Before Gen 5's launch, I remember speculating with friends at lunch about how insane and groundbreaking it was for a Fire type (Emboar) to learn a Water move. I was also excited to see brand new Pokémon, and probably would've traded anything for a Pidove... Those times are gone, but never forgotten.
I'm upset about the whole ordeal, and I've seen people rant about, but I've yet to see anyone belittle someone for their choice of buying it. I just personally hope it tanks as much as a Pokemon game can.
@@longingsoul1 It's normally in the comment section of those videos. Someone will say that they're still excited, and they already preordered, and then someone else will reply saying they are part of the problem and should be boycotting the game or getting it used.
Ah...Pallet Town song...took me back when i was playing the gameboy advanced Pokemon LeafGreen, sent by my grandma when i was a little girl. She got me hooked onto Pokemon.
Just last year I lost my grandma back in Feburary and I was crushed and these Pokemon music is bringing back those memories
