1. *Nationality*
Must be a **citizen of Pakistan**.
2. *Gender*
*Male* candidates are eligible to apply.
3. *Marital Status*
Must be **unmarried**.
4. *Age Limit*
For civilians: **16.5 to 21 years**.
For service candidates (e.g., Armed Forces in-service personnel): **17 to 23 years**.
5. *Educational Qualification*
*F.Sc (Pre-Engineering)* with at least **60% marks**.
*A-Level* with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry (equivalence certificate is required from IBCC).
Candidates with *O-Level* must also submit an equivalence certificate from the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC).
6. *Physical Standards*
**Height**: Minimum of **5 feet 4 inches (162.5 cm)**.
**Vision**: 6/6 in each eye without glasses.
7. *Selection Process*
**Written Test**: A written test is conducted which typically includes subjects like English, Mathematics, Physics, and General Knowledge.
**Initial Medical Examination**: Candidates must pass the medical tests.
**Preliminary Interview**: Interview to assess the candidate's general personality and academic background.
**ISSB Tests**: Successful candidates then proceed to the Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB) for further tests, including psychological and physical assessment.
**Final Medical Examination**: After ISSB, selected candidates undergo a final medical check-up.

8. *Training*
Once selected, cadets undergo training at **Pakistan Naval Academy**, which includes academic, physical, and naval warfare training. Upon successful completion, they are commissioned as officers in the Pakistan Navy.
