I have heard all these from other people. “I don’t have time because I have children” “I have it made where I’m at so why would I move” “It will take too long to do it” “it will cost too much to quit my job and go somewhere else” and “it will cost too much to go to school, not worth it” when he says 70% people. I absolutely believe it.
I find meaning and purpose in my work by doing all things as if I’m serving the Lord Jesus Christ. And I’m thankful for work, which God uses to provide for my needs.
As another motivator has said, you have to jump. If you never jump, you will never know. When I was younger 20 something working in the restaurant as a cook, I wanted to do better. I would see this Big popular restaurant that I thought would be a great place to work, but I thought I wasn't good enough to work there. Then one day I decided, if I don't try, I'll never know. So I applied. I got the job. Worked there for 8 years and did good. Now in my early 60's, I have a completely different career for the last 28 years working at the same company. At 60, I applied for a different position and have moved up within. It's my third time attempting to move up and it finally happened. Don't ever give up or you will never know.

Just retired and never so lost and friendless.😢

I was right on track until my GPS broke.
It is just a paycheck. Purpose is not supposed to be rooted in work.
