Her vocals now are better now in 2018, then they were during this performance. But even if this is a "bad" performance by Christina Aguilera, it still sounds better than what a lot of singers delivers in todays music industry. I´m glad that Christinas new album "Liberation" is a great album. She proved with her new album that she can still sing very great and also release good quality pop music to the public. In my opinion we need Christina Aguilera in todays music industry to bring talent back into todays music industry were the "brand" of artists often overshadows their actual talent, but Christina Aguilera manages to make music that showcases her voice in a positive way and also she changes her image for every album that she releases. I love her so much. :)
the other performances from this gig clearly are lacking of energy, but this performance is great. she did it with such pure and raw emotions and after a long time she's doing the high notes almost perfect. 2:36 - 2:43 WOW. such raw feelings. NOBODY does that like her! I_m always getting goosebumps bc she really feels what she sings - unlike lot of other artists nowadays. and I think she sang great. But clearly something was off during that evening with her energy. I really think she's pregnant. you clearly can see her belly and at 2:43 you clearly see she needs her dancer to stand up from the floor again (sorry, my english is not perfect). nice for her that she's pregnant again but let's face it: we fans are screwed. no new album, no everything. even her most loyal fans are turning their back on her bc they understandably are just bored. she needs to show us that she still wants her career.

She promised for the fans early this year that she would release new songs, an album, would be more active in social media but the whole 2016 was just warm. 1 charity single, 1 promo single for a netflix series. I want Christina back, not like a big pop star, her era was in the 2000's but like a active singer and vocalist, like Celine Dion for example. Hope is my mantra for 2017
Andrs Hawk she always did that with fighter...I never really enjoyed her live renditions of this song ESPECIALLY because she is always performing it at the end of her "medleys" in concerts or whatever! That's not a very smart choice, vocally! She is singing her most diffucult song after so many vocal acrobatics and dancing around and what not which leads her to loose breath control and because of that she starts lowering her larynx extremly uhhh...so I'm fine with her just dodging the parts. I think that's a better alternative. She is basically resting her voice! THIS IS why I want new music from her...so she would stop singing fighter (and beautiful too though I still love THAT song) the entire time and have another perform setlist, something vocally more suitable to her voice....something less rock ish raspy but more with consistent and clear vocals like new York new york performance!! I just hope the wait will be worth it!
She must really be pregnant. Just looked it up in the news. There is no official announcement yet, but it looks like she is. That explains why she barely danced and moved on stage, and yes, she' so covered up trying to hide the baby bump. She still looks gorgeous to me. But she should be resting if she's really pregnant.
i think this song just does not work well in live performances just bec her vocals and the instruments should sound harmonious. it usually sounds like the band is playing full on and Christina needs to sing louder and it all boils down to one big messy sound that is not pleasing. she needs to do another version of this for 2017 wherein we can all appreciate her voice and the song. vocally, she sounds better here in moscow compared to the one in morocco. i would pay big money to see her sing acoustic and hear her do adlibs
