Hey I wanted to ask about a bit more information related to dorms as I am moving to Istanbul in the coming days. Could you please let me know what are the essential items that I should carry
Hi! In general, you will need sheets and pillowcases, towels, clothes hangers laundry detergent and other stuffs like that. But, I recommend buying from Istanbul than carrying heavy stuff with you. Good luck!
@@fazilatsuyunova589 Thanks alot for the suggestion. If you don’t mind , I wanted to ask whether they provide food in the dorms or we have to cook on our own and what are the things that are must to carry if we are cooking on our own??
It depends on the dorms. For example, my dormitory does not provide food because we eat from the school cafeteria which in campus and it takes 15 minutes from the dorm. Additionally, we have a kitchen in the dorm for those who want to cook by themselves. The most important kitchen equipments: A small pot/frying pan, mixing spoon, knife, spoon and knife, a chopping board, food-storage containers, reusable water bottle and your mug :)
@@fazilatsuyunova589 Thank you very much, Fazilat. I am from Kashmir, India. The expenses in Turkey are quite different and can be expensive. What's your suggestion? Should I bring room essentials and kitchen essentials from India or purchase them in Turkey?
@@peerzadimunaza1205 Make a google search about the equipment that you want to buy and compare with prices in your country. In case you are not buying new ones then you can bring.
Hi, what are the chances of getting financial aid or dormitory scholarship at IHU for graduate studies.
As far as I know, if you’re accepted for a full scholarship then automatically you will be provided a student dormitory.
