Adafruit USB GPIO board

I saw this recently and had to have one. The plan is to use it and some mosfets to drive an RGBW LED strip to provide lighting for one of my 3D printers. I really need something I can automate and control remotely so this seems perfect. Have you used this before and, if so, are there any tips or tricks I should know?
