@@neox9369 And this is the reason that you don't base everything off of what you yourself think/believe. It's best to be able to put yourself into other peoples shoes, understand people have different views and upbringings which shape not only entirely different world views but shapes their brain and HOW they think. The biggest thing I've come to understand over the years is that last part, of knowing and "trying" to understand that peoples brains work different from person to person, people come to conclusions differently, people literally THINK differently and some people don't even have an inner monologue (which is crazy to me)... Basically, everyone is wildly different, don't base everything off of your own experiences.

So true. I used to be a teen looking at "older people" like why do you still "act young"? Only to turn 36 today and become exactly one of those people I used to talk so much crap about. It happens. Your life passes you by once you're out of school. And then it just accelerates more and more the older you get. I used to make fun of my father because everything seemed like "5 years ago" to him . He used to be like... "You don't remember when we went and stayed in The Poconos? That was only like 5 years ago. " (It had actually been more like about 10 years) I'm experiencing that now. Everything seems like it was "only 5 years ago" and all your favorite hang outs and dive bars are now being flooded by 20 somethings that only annoy you until there's the random one that's into older stuff that reminds you of you when you were their age bc you were always an old soul and hanging out with people way older than you when you probably shouldn't have and you take one side look at them and give a nod of approval because you actually have hope for the future. As fleeting as it may be.

    • @therevolutionwillnotbeyoutubed

@@omegaweapon116 I wholeheartedly agree. But also.... At least for me ... People my age are at the cutoff of how everything used to be pre internet, pre 911 etc. Like we remember the old world pretty clearly. Life was genuinely slower back then because EVERYTHING was slower. I'd say anyone born past like maybe '93 isn't really going to remember a life or a world pre internet. By the time they were 10, highspeed internet was pretty much everywhere, a couple short years later you got wifi and smartphones, etc. I grew up more like Gen X and the generations before. So I guess that coupled with being young made everything slow and boring. I didn't have an iPad to keep me entertained. Yeah, I had a Gameboy but batteries were constantly dying so you better figure out something else to do. Things took time. They weren't as instant as they are now and I think that also contributes to how fast time flies now. I mean tech is a great example. It's advanced faster now than it's ever have in our entire history.
