      Sir, In Mabcd complex u said 3 G.I and 3 O.I all together 6 stereoisomers and in M AA3 no G.I & O.I 2 by considering d & l form similarly why haven't you considered in Mabcd 6 O.I with 3 pairs of d& l ?? Pls explain this doubt

    In any square planar complex like [Mabcd] there must be a molecular plane (slice) so how can a square planar complex be optically active ???

    • @amishasethi135
      @amishasethi135 4 года назад

      Because plane of symmetry is not present in that complex.

    • @aejazulbashir6589
      @aejazulbashir6589 3 года назад

      @Amaira_sethi
      For any kind of square planar complex all the ligands lie in the same plane i.e y called square planar and hence there is always plane of symmetry.
      There can never be optical activity possible in square planar complexes.

  • @ranitram1728
    @ranitram1728 4 года назад +3

    Ans of last question :
    All have d3, so regardless of field strength of ligands, all have same spin, option (b) is correct. Since it has d3 conf., no J-T distortion.
    Coming to option (a), all should have 3 d-d transition, but as octahedral field strength of the ligands have changed, their absorption will definitely vary, not same.
    So, correct options are (b) and (c)
