- Bodycam footage shows Kansas City police officers helping two women escape an apartment fire on August 31. The Kansas City Police Department in Missouri said the officers arrived before the firefighters and immediately took action.

I was at the complex this took place at I knew it was a fire nearby but didn't know the severity of it and im glad everyone is safe

If that apartment wasn't equipped with a working full fire extinguisher, the landlord could be in trouble.
its probably a section 8 housing complex, which is managed by the government and they often have older buildings in cities like KC, with most haven't had a proper renovation in decades.
nothing that could be done except get more money funneled to those complexes so they can be renovated.
