Pretty sure it'd be incredibly difficult to get a Ukrainian team into Moscow to plant a bomb then get them out without being caught - and I'm not convinced that Dugin would be their top target in any case. The fact that Dugin decided at the last minute not to travel makes me wonder as well. Sounds like a Russian affair to me.
Also - even IF it turns out to be done by Ukrainians - it does not mean it was carried out by the Ukrainian state. It could be done by Ukrainians living in Russia that is very unhappy with the situation acting on their own accord. Either way how Kremlin spins this - it will reflect badly on them. If they say it was Ukraine - it means Kremlin failed to protect it's citizens in the middle of Moscow.
She was on charge of paying the Wagner group mercenaries, this seems more likely where the hit is from. It was old school mafia hit. Ukraine is not able to hit this deep, right in middle of war.
Ukraine is absolutely capable of hitting that deep, but they're not interested. They have to use their resources defending their country. Also these car bombing were common tactics in Russian politics, and they're not common for Ukrainian partisans, so it's plausible there were Russians behind this. A Russian left-wing anti-Putin group based outside of Russian borders have taken responsibility of the attack yesterday. We don't know what really happened and how is really behind it, of course, but the plausible explanation is the only ones who claims they did it, actually did it. It fits with the pattern of behaviour of both Russian political fractions, and not with the pattern of Ukrainian special forces or Partisans.
Yepp, car bombs in the middle of Moscow are more likely Russian maffia than anything else. (ofc always with some government connection, 'cos nothing happens in Russia without govt approval) As another analyst pointed out, if Ukraine would have the capability to hit people in Moscow, Dugin would unlikely to be on the top of their hit list....

Why weren't they at the front of the war they so eagerly supported in the first place? So much nationalism when it's someone else dying for the great fatherland.
What we should take away from this is the fact that this latest event proves Russians are no longer as invincible on their soil as they might have thought. I bet she did not expect this. Even her daddy seems to be very surprised. Caught off guard so to speak.
Everyone remembers that there were a couple of big bombings in Moscow apartment complexes right before the war in Chechnya. It was widely assumed that the FSB was responsible since the government immediately assigned blame to Chechen terrorists.
Ukraine normally refuses to comment. If they deny complicity they're probably telling the truth - they wouldn't risk damaging their credibility over such a small affair.

For the first time in his carrer Dugin was right that violence solves problems 😁! He wasn´t the smartest pholosopher not realizing his philosophy could be used to litterally. Rest in pieces... the world just turned a bit less violent.
I sincerely hope more of the acts of resistance inside Russia will occur. Only the own population is capable of getting rid of its tyrant and his oppressing system. Putin loved Szars and the Soviet era. He forgets how Russians in extremis dealt with this.
Acts of resistance? Against who? Dugin is just a guy with conservative views. He's completely harmless compared with Russian neonazi group "Rusich" (ДШРГ Русич) or skinheads. The fact that you killed an innocent girl only makes worse for Ukraine. Because more people will become anti-Ukraine and less people anti-war. Killing our famous people makes this conflict more radical. The government becomes more oppressive against opposition. If that's your goal, then keep doing it.
I'm afraid this is more like the German 'night of the long knives', an internal settling of scores, Putin and Lavrov noticing that that group of extremists around Dugin becomes more powerful, and given the current incompetence of the people in power, they may be planning a coup. They seem as bad as Putin. It's also a tradition we know from Stalin that the man in power kills the competition.
I wondered the same thing. they specifically said he was planning on going with her but then changed cars at the last minute. while that does seem suspicious, sometimes it's true that human intuition is our greatest ally.
Ironic Russia calling someone else "state terrorist" when they are attacking Ukrainian civilians daily with military weapons cruise missiles cluster munitions white phosphorus and the like. These terrorists now know they're safe nowhere, maybe the coward father switched cars at the last minute because he feared this. Slava Ukraine!! 🇺🇦
I think we all need to remember 24th Feb 2022. A day when many many Ukrainians from that day on lost their lives. Unfortunately for many there will be no others to remember them because whole families and friends will have been 'slaughtered' by Putins cohort. Standing up for his regime is as good as sending missiles into Ukraine
I dont think its the style of Ukraine but given what she and her father said you wouldn't blame them if the target was meant to be her father and when the evil is throwing munitions at schools hospitals and killing civilians without regard for their age or gender I dont think Russia should point any fingers anywhere I think it the internal strife in Russia opposed to the severe autocratic rule of the putin regime I hope the people have the strength to rise above the evils of putin but I fear for them whilst we can say virtually what we like in the west the Russian machine will "disappear" you in a blink of an eye Look at their history stallin, lennin mass killers of their own people Putin moulds himself on such like mass murderers
No, Ukraine is losing, western aid and support is falling. The economic crisis the west is facing is making support harder to give in a losing war. This was an attempt to try and get more aid in. Note a lot of this aid is being stolen. Ukraine was one of the most corrupt countries in Europe before the war.
Now Papa Dugin understands what many parents in Ukraine have been experiencing since the beginning of Russia’s war on Ukraine. Dugin must know Putin well enough to know that he (Putin) may well be responsible for the girls death. Putin ... End this insane war. Stop the suffering. 🌲🌝☘️
I'm really sadden by this news. Yeah it breaks my heart that Dugin survived. Well, at least he has to live the rest of his life knowing his fascist warmongering ideas led to his daughter being killed, at least that cheers me up a little bit.
I have a strong feeling whoever did it knew the daughter was going to drive it and not the father. This was to teach him a lesson, payback so he can spend the rest of his life in silence suffering with guilt and grief. If that's possible for him.

The victim and father seem so determined to renew an empire that they might be willing to use her death as an escalation reason. People who encourage violence to attack and pillage are not beyond a blood sacrifice to strengthen the country’s resolve. Why else would he change his mind about driving in that car? If her death does increase war efforts by Russia, perhaps her father would be proud of her as a martyr.

Something important to know, for all who are interested in history and/or support Ukraine: Rus’ ought not to be confused with “Russia”, which derives its name from the Rus’ but historically is a completely different state, which almost all its existence was at war with the Rus’. Just like the Holy Roman Empire was actually Germany, Russia is actually Muscovy, despite their best attempts to convince everybody otherwise. Its name “Russia" received only in 1721, when Peter I passed a decree to change Tsardom of Muscovy’s name into the “Russian” Empire (“Russia” originates from Rosia, name used by the Greek Orthodox Clergy in regards to Kyivan Rus') Under the reign of Cathrine II Muscovites where even pushed for continuing to identify as Muscovites, and where forced to call themselves “Russian”. Lands that “Russia” claims were part of the original Rus’, but actually weren't, are Novgorod, Suzdal, and Ryazan, since in historical texts of XI-XII centuries they are mentioned as separate entities from Rus’. They can be considered parts of extended Rus’, although their culture was distinct from main Rus’. In 1493 Moscow prince Ivan III appointed himself to be the Great Ruler of All Rus’. No other kings acknowledged that. From that point on Muscovy started to make false claims on Rus’ ownership. “Russia” is an offshoot of Ukraine and not the other way round, despite what Soviet and “Russian” historians have been trying to say for years. Kiev was a developed cultured capital when Moscow was just another swamp village. Germany used to call itself the Holy Roman Empire, that didn’t mean they became the Romans, and all of a sudden had a right to claim whole of Italy and its history, but yet, that’s exactly what “Russia” did in regards to Rus’-Ukraine, which is a horrible injustice!
This would be like if the US claiming that Britain, France, Netherlands and Spain belonged to them because parts of the country were at one time French, Dutch, British and Spanish and that is where the US cultural originated from.
The Russians calling this a potential "State sponsored terrorism" is so rich.

It was done by her own group
(ofc always with some government connection, 'cos nothing happens in Russia without govt approval)

Something important to know, for all who are interested in history and/or support Ukraine:
Rus’ ought not to be confused with “Russia”, which derives its name from the Rus’ but historically is a completely different state, which almost all its existence was at war with the Rus’.
Just like the Holy Roman Empire was actually Germany, Russia is actually Muscovy, despite their best attempts to convince everybody otherwise.
Its name “Russia" received only in 1721, when Peter I passed a decree to change Tsardom of Muscovy’s name into the “Russian” Empire (“Russia” originates from Rosia, name used by the Greek Orthodox Clergy in regards to Kyivan Rus')
Under the reign of Cathrine II Muscovites where even pushed for continuing to identify as Muscovites, and where forced to call themselves “Russian”.
And is any of this lecture of the slightest relevance?
This would be like if the US claiming that Britain, France, Netherlands and Spain belonged to them because parts of the country were at one time French, Dutch, British and Spanish and that is where the US cultural originated from.
