Originally telecast on January 8, 1965- and the first of two unsold pilots featuring Jack Kelly (as "Fred Piper") in a proposed series, "PAY THE PIPER". Lee Meriwether [1:23] also appeared that evening on "THE JACK BENNY PROGRAM" (following "CHRYSLER THEATRE"), in a sketch with Jack and his guest star Jack Jones {"Good morning! Benedict Arnold High School......I know, but the school was named for him *before* he turned out to be a louse!"}.
Not directly, but as Don Wilson noted in his introduction to the sketch, "Tonight, we pay tribute to those dedicated men and women who have chosen *TEACHING,* as their profession. Men and women who devote their time and energies to moulding the lives of the younger generation! Our, ah, scene takes place in the principal's office of an old high school in a - 'typical' American city....."
Hi! Is there a chance you have/will upload the "Chrylser Theatre" episodes that include Victor Buono? (Memorandum for a Spy, Russian Roulette) I could never find them anywhere, been looking for years.
@@sfinthecity Aww man, that sucks. I research him and when I do find episodes of the super rare shows he was on the episodes with him are still the ones missing. :( But thank you so much for your response!
Had no idea Lauren Bacall did short movies like this. She was very beautiful. Lots of Stars in this one.
It was very nice seeing Fay Wray.
Miss Fay Wray was 57 years old at the time of filming and she was not shy about her graying hair .
Very rare for an actress to not dye.
No doubt taking heed from the woman likely to have been the reason the word "fashionista" was coined, Barbara "Babe" Paley
This episode is an example of how much audio has improved during my lifetime
This episode has some prominent actors in it!
I thought Lee Meriwether LIVED at 20th Century Fox during the 1960s! Seeing her from Universal/Revue is a surprise.
On February 1 she was at MGM, as a THRUSH agent in "The Mad, Mad Tea Party Affair" episode of THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E
Thank you
Audio was bad , But , It’s a Free show with Top Actors and a good Story ! 👍

I mean there's consequences even in the safest way sometimes but you have to be cautious considerate
Go back in time and harper about it
Why was Lauren Bacall’s hai dry when she came out of the pool?
She's all dry!😂
She was wearing a Bathing Cap in the Pool !
For some reason I have never been a fan of the "twin" gimmick ... even when played by the great Lauren Bacall.
That sherriff has Spock ears!
The last thylacine was murdered in 1936.
Fun show. Kelly was good but I don't think he made it so big as Garner
Wonder what the side effects are that to an animal
Idiot humans take it to be "cool"
Fay Wray was in this one 🦍
WHY???
You know I never even seen this movie so I don't even know how I commented and these comments I'm sure I made them but a different movie
@@mayranoguera838This is a tv show and most of what you said made very little sense to me. Sorry.
Aired December 15th,1961, this is incorrect and I retract it
@Elliot Schertzer Wikipedia is incorrect, a mis-type. IMDb and CTVA state 1-8-1965. Chrysler Theatre debuted 10-4-1963.
@@sfinthecity forgive me it was a bone head move on my part. I will try to remove it.
It would have been quite a feat to have a 1965 Chrysler in a 1961 production.
Three dots to the right to delete.
Not right what they did to animals in the movies 😢😡
Go back in time and yap about it
@@kledsonenglish guess I ruined your fantasy 😁
