I spent 33 years in prison and have been out since March 2020. I plan to use this page for motivational speaking, juvenile prevention, and personnel training.
You may have previously seen me on a RUclips series called AfterPrisonShow. This is where I began my RUclips journey starting with words of wisdom, cooking hacks, and life lessons. So it’ll paint the picture as if he’s more concerned about keeping it real than he is with being released… But yeah man he’ll die in prison unfortunately. And I’ve done time b4 I’m only 25 but I feel for bo but I also understand the mindset of regular middle class people.. and they will NEVER vouch to have bo released.

Banky, I wrote Bo and gave him a list of organizations that I spoke with on his behalf. After I mailed the letter, one of the Pro Bono organizations contacted me and agreed to reach out to Bo. I plan to follow up with Bo to confirm that he heard from the group. If you speak with him, please give an update in one of your videos. I listen to them all 💜

Banky you tell those prison stories with alot of emotions. It's almost impossible to live like that without losing your mind. My God is truly a way maker. I now look at the system totally different after hearing these stories. Keep them coming Banky I know it's helping someone. BBLESS ❤️

have you all tried the innocence project organization to help get your unc out of that hell hole?
@@kacybrandon No because he's not innocent. The crimes committed in prison also go against you. He just didn't deserve the time he got for his crime as a youth. The Innocence Project is for those who were wrongfully convicted. They take cases on that were extreme but it's difficult to win those. Bo has a good rep at Fighting 4 Freedom, (Karen Morrison), and she also represents my husband. Very well known & respected by the Parole Board & he has a very good chance at getting paroled this year.

Listening to this story over the last few days, There where times when I was thinking as bad as it is, you should still be happy you are not in a Palestinian jail, under what they call Administrative Detention (indefinite incarceration without charge) and the condition's make Wallens ridge seem like a picnic. Don't get me wrong I've been in similar situation's and thought similar things. But at the end of the day it come's down to this, When you live in countries like America, Australia and so on, Countries that "pride" themselves on "Justice" then the hypocrisy of the situation is what gets under your skin.

This is so sad and I'm going to tell you why. I studied world war II for 25 years and the high ranking Nazis at Nuremberg received better representation and a fairer trial than Mr Bo Billy did even though they were all guilty beyond any shadow of a doubt and these were all top notch American attorneys not pro bono public defenders That being said there were very few that were actually hung and quite a few Albert Speer for one who was the armaments minister and was responsible for thousands of foreign slave labor deaths walked away with 20 years at Spandau prison and didn't die until sometime in the 80s of old age. Grand admiral Karl Donitz who was head of the German Navy and responsible for thousands of allied shipping deaths not to mention being named as Hitler's successor received 10 years but Mr Bo Billy got twice as much time both of these Nazis combined and to my knowledge was never convicted of killing anyone let alone thousands of innocent people. Hell even Rudolph Hess who was second in command to Hitler received a life license and didn't get the noose. Gotta love the hypocrisy of America sorry for the rant and the history lesson Banky but those two points make something very valid to point out to whoever is in charge in the Virginia DOC to at least shame them to death for treating this man worse than a Nazi.

That was a great story about Bo. I don’t know whether to feel sorry for him or not. Nobody should have to deal with the stuff he has had to endure. However it sounds like he also was mean to a lot of weaker inmates, and that is also wrong. It would be nice if there was a way to make things better for all the inmates. Thank you for everything that you do Banky.

Finally got a chance to finish this series! Man o man! Mr. Bo Billy has got one hell of a testimony that will be a blessing to many! He should not have ever received that 25 year sentence for a crime he did not commit! Let's start there! Is there anyone in the TBP family located in Virginia that knows of an attorney or local rep that could look at Mr. Bo Billy's case? I am not in that area so I am not familiar with politics in Virginia or the state reps. I can however, do some homework and maybe find out who would be the person/s to get this story to. In the meantime and in between time, is there a way to set up a go fund me page for this man? Also, let's start to reach out to this man, those of us who can. I think the letters and financial assistance will give him enough muster and strength to know that people out here so care about him. He matters no matter how many folks have made him feel like he does not matter. He has left his mark on the world and will remain unforgettable, as the song says. Thanks for sharing Bo Billy's story. I am sure he appreciates you sharing it, too!

I got burned by acid or liquid Drano at 3 and at 37 years old I still have the scars.. So I believe him.
His situation is a tough one for sure. If he could get out, does he still have family left that can take him in and help him thru the adjustment seeing as he went in so young? He would definitely need it.
