It only needs two AA batteries to make it work just popping the batteries throw on a controller and a controller is working goodbye rechargeable batteries the ones that look like the AA batteries are better when you’re playing this of your video game, your batteries around juicy pop them out. Take them out put them on charger and pop the fully charged ones in and keep on going. there is a USB port on the Xbox. That’s where that’s a accessories like the steering wheel you could charge your phone your iPad like that type of stuff it’s located onto the front of the Xbox the Xbox series S wired controller you have to buy that separately does not come with it only a wireless controller and there’s no part to put CDs in there. It’s not like your Xbox series X that has a CD part. It’s the Xbox series. S is all digital games. Have to download to have the to play the games on the Xbox. It comes with in the box A HDMI cable, a cable to plug into the Xbox to the wall outlet to make the Xbox turn on a controller. Batteries are not included, and that’s pretty much it.

Depends on how you use it. If you game a lot of press the sticks down for certain actions like running and melee, it's expected. I have drift on my Xbox One controller that I've been rocking for about 10 years now, so it's quite durable. A good cleaning fixes most of the drift issues.
