I've heard there are plans to relocate the Commerce station close to the Citadel Outlets

I read into that and considered including that in this video. So LA Metro started the Montebello/Commerce Station Relocation Feasibility study back in 2016 and remains in the Early Planning phase. If you know a thing or two about how railroad companies regulate the land that their tracks are on and the planning process (from drafting the plans to commencing maintenance and operation), then I’m sure you’d understand why relocating a commuter rail station takes a long, long time.

@@eddiescanduratrains thanks for that insight. It helps to temper my expectations.
I've been closely following the extension of the LA Metro to Commerce and they mentioned the relocation of the station. BTW, LA Metro already approved building an underground Metro station towards the back of the Citadel Outlets Mall.

@@mrxman581 yes, that’s for the (now) E Line Eastward Extension. I haven’t ready too much about the extension, yet I’ll have a segment on that when I get around to making a ride along/mini-documentary about LA Metro’s E Line.
P.S. I take the A Line from Long Beach into DTLA for work and my commute is now so much nicer since Regional Connector opened

@@eddiescanduratrains Very cool. I tried the Regional Connector on opening day and it felt like a watershed moment to me. I'm a life long Angeleno and recently retired and it really felt like being on a real working metro in a big city. Maybe even more so on that day with all the passengers. I hadn't been to the beach in SM in over 25 years mostly because it's gotten less convenient over time. A few of us checked out the beautiful new stations and then took the E line to SM. We spent the whole day there and had lunch on the Pier. We walked over to Bay Cities on Lincoln to grab some sandwiches to go. We head back to East LA. The return trip took a little over an hour and that was arout5:30pm on Friday. That same distance in the car probably would have taken longer at rush hour. Plan on going to the beach more often from now on.
BTW, when you take your East LA adventure, stop at the original King Taco. There is a station right in front of it.

It primarily depends where you’re going and if it’s round trip or one way. From LA to Downtown Riverside is $26 round trip. Here’s the price finder metrolinktrains.com/ticketsOverview/ticket-info/price-finder/
