This is just so adorable. Watching Keanu full-body laugh every time Alex says something, it's just so super-evident how much they love each other.

I'm almost 40 too. Weird to think how so many 10 year olds who watched the first 2 movies have taken the films with them to adulthood and now get to watch Bill & Ted 3 as adults.
I'm hyped for this movie.

I remember exactly where I was when I read they were making Bill and Ted 3 in like 2011. I had given up on it happening, and here we are.

It's awesome to see how well spoken Alex is, you don't really get to see him deep dive into conversations that much. Obviously Keanu is the nicest man in Hollywood still so he doesn't really need boasting. You just don't see much of Alex and so it's cool to see how intelligent of a person he is.

They were asked the most inane questions, but somehow the most intelligent and insightful answers came from Keanu and Alex. They proved why they are both so beloved.....they are simply put, brilliant.

Keanu is great of course but I was rather impressed with Alex. Clearly, knows a lot, thinks a lot, and was fascinating to listen to talk. Strange that they weren't asked anything about George Carlin, and maybe his role (probably contractual) in Bogus Journey, how he was in the first movie, etc.

Entertainment journalism is a variation on the theme of (breathless voice) "what's it like to be an actor????". Simon Mayo in the UK is a notable exception but for the most part entertainment reporters seem to me to be people who desperately want to be famous but don't have any talent so instead they get a job where they get to interview famous people.
This guy spends fifteen minutes listening to K and A talk about how much the films mean to them and their friendship, and then asks Keanu what "drove" him to get the third film made. Um hello, everything he just talked about. But I love Keanu just going "I wasn't driven". ha ha ha
Alex and Keanu are just so likeable. If that comes through in B&T 3, then it will indeed be most triumphant!

Alex Winter makes my vocabulary seem like it’s at a 3rd grade level
You'll get there bud! He's got an almost poetic way of describing the nuances of what they did to make these movies come to life! I love He's had more time to chirp his voice about everything!
I couldn't agree more, it's near-impossible *not* to love that silver-tongued Adonis!! That said, I do worry that he may come off a touch pretentious because of said impressive vocabulary, which shouldn't *ever* be considered _his_ problem.
My sole concern is he may alienate some who aim to see the new film who _might_ inhabit a similar intelligence quotient that his and Keanu's characters depict..
Please don't misunderstand, I'm not suggesting he *ever* permanently dilute his deft oration, as his adept grasp of his native tongue is what *every* speaker of *every* language should unwaveringly strive for. I'm merely suggesting it may at times be wise to play to your current audience.
Deliberately wordy reply aside, *I CANT FRIGGIN WAIT TO SEE THIS MOVIE!! BE EXCELLENT TO EACH OTHER!!*

Keanu seems so much more relaxed during this interview. When I see him on Late night shows, he seems more withdrawn or careful of what he says.

He's shy and introverted, so a big show with a large audience is nerve-wrecking. This interview is basically him alone in a cozy room zooming with his friend and one other guy. The result is a relaxed and happy Keanu.
It’s the questions too. Answering direct questions about himself is not his favorite thing. I feel he’s nostalgic here, enjoying his friend and remembering back in the day. If he’s relaxed you know it and get much more from him.
Very good interview. Not only are Keanu and Alex smart guys who are super into making movies, but the interviewer asks interesting questions.

Yeah I would say he's the brains to Keanu's charm.
I have to say, the timing of this is perfect for this strange epoch. I watched the original with my then 10 year old daughter, and we bonded and laughed so much, and again with the sequel. Then with my younger daughter we three got to do it again..
Now with my daughters in their 40s and 30s, we get to do it AGAIN...as the kids always say when they're having something
particularly fun. Great interview, great conversation, and I know you weren't doing a sales job as is typical of doing the circuit on the talk shows...You guys are obviously reveling in the glow of the experience...Nice, man

I'm 36, and loved Bill and Ted since I was a kid. I love to see these guys so happy to be collaborating to bring us more, and I think as an adult I'll relate to this movie in a different way to how my 10 year old self related to the originals.
It's good to see Alex Winter at it again. He effortlessly stepped back into the role and killed it.

I drove 30 miles to watch it on the big screen because my local theatre wasn’t showing it. It was well worth the drive and I loved it! Made me want to go back and watch the first two again. I’m waiting though to share that with my kids for bill and Ted marathon weekend this weekend!! Great video!!

I SO enjoyed this interview! My girls & I were all 22 when the 1st movie was released. We all went to see it at the theater. We all still quote lines from the movies too. Loved the second one mostly because of Death. And it's kind of weird that I now work for the company that make Battleship & Twister, lol. Can't wait to see the new one! Love Alex & Keanu both. And it was most excellent to see Keanu be so relaxed and smiling so much!

I grew up enjoying the Bill and Ted movies and for a few years of my life I lived in San Dimas, but the real point of this post is that I'm extremely happy that the original characters, though older, weren't completely destroyed so that the daughters could step in and save the day.
It's sad that you almost have to watch a movie and prepare yourself to see your favorite characters be destroyed before your eyes. This new Bill and Ted movie did not do that at all and I had to go back and watch it again so that I could full enjoy the crazy ride. I'm 100% satisfied with buying this movie.
I'm happy to say that this movie did not go in the recent and normal Hollywood direction. I hope Bill and Ted does well financially so that it can be message and a lesson to the movie studios that have destroyed beloved characters and show them that it's just not an acceptable way to produce a movie.
It was fun to see Keanu and Alex on the screen together again along with a little tribute to a great comedian. The cast, crew, and writers did an "excellent" job with this movie!
I don't know if there's room for another movie beyond this one and I would be fine with that, but if there were I would support it as long as it kept with same heart and soul of the last Bill and Ted movies.

Knowing that these two dudes are friends in real life makes me happier than anything. They shaped my adolescence and that just makes it more pure. Bloody love it. New Bill and Ted was great too. I had a good laugh!

I was growing up in Derbyshire when I discovered the first 2 films, all the way back in 1991. The World wouldn't be the same without Bill & Ted. Ruined my high school experience though, lol.
