Also the story was inspired from the Bollywood movie "Hum" in which Rajinikanth acted with Amitabh bachan. There was a scene for which the elder brother Amitabh Bachan questions the recruiting agency for younger brother Rajinikanth as they asked money for Rajinikanth to get SI selection. But that scene removed later. Then Rajinikanth told about that scene to the director Suresh Krishna and thus "Basha" was made
