What do YOU think is the best fishery in the world??
Live only 45 minutes from the St Lawrence river and 20 from the great lake Ontario 🤙🤙🎣🇺🇸 absolutely amazing small mouth and walleye fishing
Portugal, lake sabor
Lake Talquin right outside Tallahassee Florida 🐟 🎣❤
CAYUGA !
@@johnm2617 I never have good trips there 😢
Great video! Just got my grandson into fishing. For Christmas we went down to Florida to visit my son. Took them fishing on Okeechobee. Now he’s hooked forever.!
Love to hear it!!
These video productions are super next level. Wish this editor got much more attention. Deserves Millions of views
Love these videos, remember watching your dads shows with my Grandpa and how impactful that was for my love of the sport I love to know that I’ll be able to share these videos with my Kids and Grandkids to inspire the same love and bond that fishing brings!
Thanks Scott!!!
Every video is a movie. The production is unmatched!
Ive been watching you fish since the FLW days and you are amazing with the personality, the parents, and skill God blessed you with... YOU WERE BORN FOR THIS! Keep on and I have no doubt you will get your Classic Trophy Brother 💯
Scott is absolutely correct how neat it is to watch bass do what they were made to do. After 40 years of fishing I’m still enamored watching our Smallies come from under our sea wall to study a jerkbait for seconds then just inhale it all. It’s part of the magic of fishing. 🎣 ❤
Also I’m not sure about the NY area but on Lake Michigan I have great success with the Great Lakes Finesse juvy craws (pumpkin/orange) and any Nikko hellgrammite I’ve thrown for Smallies. Some days they really like the juvy’s popped off the bottom for reaction strikes. I’m sure you’ve tried them and know even more, but hope that helps someone here.
You guys crushed it and gotta say that your videos are set the bar for what Bassmaster's tv program needs to look like. Outstanding! And if I manage to win that rod, I'm guaranteed to fish with it. Maybe get it autographed along the way. Lew's is amazing!
Thank you Scott so much for these videos, I have been so inspired and feeling so blessed watching your journey and learning what truly pro elite anglers life is like. Thank you Mr. McCoy for doing everything you do behind the scenes the cinematography, editing and putting these epic films together there is no one else better that is qualified to bring these videos to life! Scott these videos are so much better than watching the news today or a big theatre film, your life and watching your pro elite brothers Scott Canterbury and Matt Arey make the greatest team ever. I can’t wait to see what you all do in 2025 tight lines take care and God bless. Now I’m going to watch your next video that just dropped yes sir!
Hey Mr. Scott! I love watching your videos. I been subscribed for sometime now! As younger fisher I wanted to learn how to fish the correct way and learn new tips. I found you on RUclips! What really set me with watching you is when you thank the Lord and always are so positive!! I want say thank you for inspiring me to be better person and a better fisherman. Thanks Jake
Thanks so much Jake, appreciate you watching!
Great tournament brother. Love watching your videos. Thanks for taking the time to video
Great video Scott!! I fished the st.Lawrence for 35 straight years. Started back in 1981. We were almost the only bass fisherman on the river at that time. Magical place
My mother's childhood home is at the bottom of it. they moved some homes in Canada and left some there. My Aunt watched it when the opened it up and let the water roll.
Sounds like you had it all to yourself back then!
I have been there since 2009. How do you think the fishing compares now to back then?
In my opinion fishing has been tougher during the past few years. Lots more pressure now
Bless you Scott, for giving us some of the best entertainment this fall….
Great filming, production and editing! Seriously next level
Love watching the fishing, but especially love hearing you thank your Lord and Savior! Always a class act! God bless buddy!
Thanks so much, I appreciate that!
Best Fishery for sure is Toledo Bend for me. Grew up here and have fished it my whole life man!
Always a class act thanks for a great year of videos. So awesome to follow you guys. Best of luck in the Classic 👊
Appreciate that, means a lot! 🙏
This was the best fishing video I’ve seen in a long time. I appreciate the hard work! Keep it up!
I'm glad you liked it! We're having a blast making them.
Scott Martin dropping straight movies 🍿 🎥

yo scott i bought a cert from you years ago back when you were a ranger guy. glad to see you are still slaying them. when its cold and rainy here im happy to watch your videos.
That’s awesome
Ol' Canterbury and his black chatterbaits 🔥🔥
Man I learn so much on theses videos I love them
Love your videos! Keep them coming! McCoy you’re killing the editing!
Appreciate the kind words!🙏
Thank you for sharing this video, Mr. Scott! Of all of the lakes I fish, I love Lay Lake - Alabama. I have not traveled much to fish, so I cannot comment on the best US fishery and can only pick a favorite in the lakes I do fish, so there you have it. Best wishes and prayers to you and the group and hope have an excellent new year and 2025 season! Best Respects, Ken.
Thanks, Ken! Lay Lake is a special place for sure 🙏
Awesome content, been watching for years, loved the challenge videos with your girls! Used to watch with my girls!
That’ll be nice Christmas/new year gift to have
Awesome video Scott. You will get it next year and I caught myself a new PB on Lake Okeechobee it was 6lbs 10oz
Hogg on!!!
Highest quality videos on RUclips. Looking forward to many more.
Grew up fishing leech lake before that cabin sold. Loved it. Now fish the mighty Mississippi now that I own a cabin there in pool 9. Great smallie fisherie there!
That’s awesome!
What ever you are paying your film guy is not enough!
You, Scott C., and Matt should link up with Lego and make 3 decent sized, detailed models of ur guy’s trucks and boats! Would love to set them up on my shelves with my other collections!
That would be pretty cool!
Love watching you videos!
Thanks for watching!
You produce awesome films! Best I have watched! Cannot beat Lake Ontario for smallmouth!
Appreciate the love for the film! 🙏
Love your Channel Scott Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Thanks so much, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too!
Love your tournament videos. Keep up the amazing content.
Thanks, appreciate you watching!
Love the video!
I think the best bass "fishery" in the world changes over time based on the cycles of lakes and amount of pressure they get. If we're talking strictly bass, i think theres a "bucket" of best fisheries. St Lawrence/Lake Ontario definitely in that bucket. Seems like Lake Murray is making a strong case for itself lately. Gville in there too. East texas loaded with lakes that you could argue are some of the best as well. Finger lakes in NY are crazy good too. Some of the older fabeled fisheries like Lake O and KY lake are pumping out some strong weights again too.
Love the videos and thanks for all the info you share.
Appreciate that!🙏
@ what picture on your instagram do I need to comment on to be entered into the give away for your spinning rod?
Love the Maryland shout out. They asked what seasoning he put on the Walleye and he said Old Bay. It gets no more Maryland then that
pretty cool to see one of my local lakes recognized by you guys next time try clear lake.
Remember, on the Great Lakes the main forage is now Gobies and Alewife. Also mussels play into it. I live close to Chicago. Imitating the goby draws the bass in. An alewife pattern mid water gets them to bite. They are either looking up for alewife or down for gobies. You have to figure out which. But those are the colors you need.
What’s up Scott you the man
Beautiful rod and reel setup
Thanks 👍
@ what post are we supposed to comment on on instagram ?
Love the videos Scott, very informative
Appreciate you!
Awesome fishing!!
Appreciate it!
My first video on the channel, just subbed for more!
Keep up the great content! ❤
Appreciate you!
They are moving some weight Scott! The demand requires 4 companies! 🤷♂️
Awesome video like always my son would love the lews combo
Glad you liked it!
Good luck and if I win it get Messer to autograph it for me!😁😂
Great season ending fishing your the best here we come 2025 time to turn up the heat
Thanks man, looking forward to it!
Great video!
Appreciate it! 🙏
Awesome video as always. Pretty special fishery but all around fishery has to be Venice.
I agree, Venice is pretty special!
Great film and commentary. I love bass fishing and I fish the St Lawrence on a regular basis. The last couple of years have been tougher than the pre-Covid years. I am honestly concerned about pressure from all directions. Cormorants, a slew of tournaments, charters etc.
You
Guys are the experts and I wonder what it does to bass being caught in Lake Ontario, spending a fair amount of time in the live well to finally get transported all the way to Waddington for the weigh in and finally dumped back in the water some 20 miles from its habitat?
I wonder if there’s another way. I know you guys are the last ones to want to do harm to the fisheries.
Great fishery and video,
Glad you enjoyed it!
Me! Pick me! Seriously though, my son and my husband would be so excited if I won this for them! And me too honestly 😊
Would be a blessing to win it.
Very nice
Appreciate it!
Your house needs to start getting checks, so you can upgrade your house conditions!😂 The 2nd was ok looked like.
Baitpop is some good stuff but you’ll be wearing that glitter after using it lol
Are these reruns? But love the video keep it up
How did I not find these videos sooner? 100% amazing. It keeps me motivated to chase big bass with my free time, which keeps me out of trouble in more ways you can ever know. All the best and a sincere thank you.
at 45 years old, fishing mississippi gas rigs, fishing fresh water in mississippi, i’ve learned the best fisheries in the world are where people can bank fish…this industry is just too expensive….spread the love for affordable accessible fishing in the USA
McCoy I’ve never felt one this big before 🤭what are they feeding you at buckies McCoy
Yessir
Nothing like a lil wee backlash an hooking a tank!
SANTEE COOPER!!!!!
All I’m not sure if you guys are allowed to use cranks anymore but the strike king deep diver seems to get em good nice and small tight wiggle
I use the 5xd and never seemed to miss one
Smaller 2 hook Deep diving white rapala jerk it’s light but great on stingy fish
And my secret would be Berkley flicker shad in the 5 or 6 size again lighter bait but super good at getting bites
Pickwick!
Scott I watch your videos occasionally. I have found that when those schools won’t bite I can catch them by slow reeling a 1/2 oz cotton Cordell blade bait thru them especially if they are on shad or baitfish . Silver on cloudy days hold on sunny days . Good luck !
I’d like to see the elites go out west and fish a smallmouth fishery again
Born and raised on Chaumont Bay and the St. Lawrence. I've fished all over the US and I may be a bit biased but Lake Ontario will always be #1 in my book. Kissimmee and Okeechobee are up there as well tho now that I'm a FL resident. Both have giants respective of their species and both areas have beautiful and unique landscapes/ecosystems that make them special in their own right. This video did a fantastic job of showcasing what the Northern NY arenas have to offer for the avid bass angler! Another masterpiece @scottmartinchallenge !!!
My friends go to Chaumont bay and slay perch and crappie for fish fries. Brian from Alex Bay.
Great video Scott! have you considered bumping down to a medium light for a hair jig rod? many of us "Northerners" all run ML. i couldn't even imagine trying to whip out a 1/16 out in a breeze! cant wait for 2025 season!!
Yes I have
2:05 ... Scott: "McCoy... how many times have you beaten me? McCoy: "I don't think I've beat you lately, actually. I beat you once or twice."... Scott: "Maybe when I first played" walks out the room.... mic drop. LMAO
😎
The reason it’s so many dispensaries, is the same reason it’s so many liquor stores in my neighborhood.
I’m torn between Saginaw bay and st. Clair. No matter what though I’m always down to catch some smallies.. lol
Lake fishing for 6lbs plus needs to be between 40-60 ft I'm a local to Clayton hope it helps
Thanks Scott for these videos, I’ve learned so much about fishing by husband stealing the TV remote😂 he’s always watching these videos, thanks for making watchable content for the wives too lol
How often do you have fish kill in tournaments
Lake Erie!
Man I would love to win a rid from yu. It would be a blessing. I'm a disabled Iraqi freedom black ops veteran from so Texas love you and your family
scott martin i need a pro hat and pro shirt i watch all your turneements
Good finish, lost a couple good ones ,
You need to get aqau view...alot of those big schools you're seeing on the graph are Drum...I spend alot of time outthere with aqau view...
what scent is Scott referring to as "Bass cocaine"?
Lake guntersville
The Potomac River called, clearing its throat….
Let’s gooo we love it keep it up
Bandito bug on a 1/4-3/8 shaky head even googan worm
Very little red tape on the NY Indian Reservations for dispensaries. Everybody goes to the rez for their weed, smokes, and chew. Much cheaper on the rez. Fuel, too!
Also can’t see the giveaway post😢
Lake Mrs Buttersworth
Dont do Instagram! So im getting nothing for Christmas! 😮😮 peace
i want that rod
I need a rod and reel all my stuff got stolen from a storage unit along with everything else in there. Steve from Corinth Mississippi
How many hours are you wasting driving that far to the lake and back?
