I am from Gujranwala, and I know a little about this family. They have a very poor but technical background since his grandfather perhaps. His grandfather was used to make a single electric motor and sell it in the market. The good thing is they are traditional a gentle man family, not a Gulu Butt. However, my regret is that the Master group could not establish itself as a potential exporter or as a manufacturer of quality or technically top quality products. I met his father, about 20 years back, he was a gentleman but a chain smoker (DunHill brand). Making money as a property dealer/ developer in Pakistan, is not unique or something that someone can feel proud about serving his country. This group was about to die and at the verge of default but this project of property saved them. In fact, the property business involves a lot of corrupt practices starting from land grabbing, bribing in government offices and making fraud sales and claims to the customers.
