- Austin Bird may have AFM, or Acute Flaccid Myelitis, but that doesn’t keep him from smiling and cracking jokes. His incredible single mother supports Austin, and his two siblings, in his every day - from therapy to school to home. George Oliphant and the George to the Rescue team helps bring light and joy into their home through an incredible renovation. Their new home is spacious, ADA accessible, and incorporates loving memories of Austin's late father.

Please stop with ¨I know more than you do¨ attitude. Widow or not, she is now SINGLE/without husband but with a great positive attitude son. George and crew, ALWAYS a great job and positive attitude.
Austin inspires me and I recovered (sort of) from a C4 to T2 spinal injury and had to learn to walk again (only 20 meters) so Austin Keep trucking, you are the master of your own destiny.

I do not understand how anyone can give any thumbs down to any George videos! This amazing woman lost her husband out of the blue! Her son out of the blue with a rear disease! She's a kindergarten teacher on top of everything else! She deserves everything💙💙💙💙

@@northsouth8884 yes like a Father too. Lost my dad to a heart attack 2 years ago and mum to cancer in 08 so believe me when I say I would do anything to see mum or daf on my caller ID. Life is still a beautiful gift.

been feeling very low lately. just went through a bad break up and lost my grandma (mom basically) and money trouble. my dad told me what Jimmy V always said, and when i watch that speech and then see this kid so deserves this and just seeing the joy on his face made my day better
