this song became MASSIVE in the palaeontology community, especially with fossil hunters such as myself. the history of our planet is incredible and it can be found and unraveled if we look for it. whether it’s through bones, footprints, shells or a literal drag path.
it’s amazing to think that a dinosaur who passed millions of years ago would be found and remembered, it left its mark for us and now we can appreciate it again and remember its life through the evidence it left behind

So from what I see, the three elder rabbits are his grandparents. The wolf is death. The little dude pulled out of the hat is Tyler.... It's about death chasing Tyler, and when he's pulled out of the hat, he has to put on a show. So much subliminal messaging and so fucking beautifully done as always.
And that’s not even touching on the Christian elements. It’s definitely layered in a hundred degrees
I like that they make the video enjoyable for everyone, I wouldn’t get the Christian content and I still find a lot of meaning in the video and their music

I think that the wolf is the devil. After all the lyrics are 'when I see the devil's eye's'. I think that the rabbit, not only is Tyler, but can be extended to all believers of Jesus. The devil, or the wolf is trying to take away what good the rabbit has, his family. The magician is God. The lyric 'the proof is in the adversary' is stating that the proof of God, lies in the fact he can see the opposite. If there is an evil force, there must be a good one.

I never was the biggest 21 pilots fan. I liked some of their songs but as I met the love of my life I found out she is a mega fan of them. So much so that she got me really into them. We were both so excited for drag path official release. My fiancé died last week. She was only 22. In devastated as we had our entire lives planned together. She was so excited for so many things coming out and we were going to go through it all together. Now I’m going through it all for her, as much as it hurts I’m glad I was able to listen to this song. It makes me feel as if she is still alive in these little moments.
