My wife and i watched the christmas episodes from season 1 and 2 yesterday (christmas eve) when the kids were in bed, and after the second i fell asleep on the couch Mike-style.
Christmas is not about presents; whatever they are. It's about family. No matter if it's a "simple", christmas or not. You don't cut back at Christmas.
Oh gosh my family is so funny the crazy stories, my side of the family was no alcohol but poker at the end of the day and my ex's family (before me) was the police called after the whole extended drunk family would start fighting, oh man......
My kids grandparent's bought my kids gifts that took 45 minutes to open (not rich people) I was in awe, amazed, flabbergasted, totally did not expect it. I don't even remember if I thought that they would bring anything we were just happy that they came to visit. If someone gives your kid gifts hug them tight, they love your kid as much as you do.
Even though the holiday episodes are classics. Still, you have to admit. Everytime someone purposely targets the Hecks to scam them and regardless of how much hell the family goes through for it and when the scammer admits their actions and they call them out on their lies and hypocrisy, you never see them get their comeuppance or get exposed and fired which that is not only a holiday mood killer but it's enough to drive people insane. During the scene when they found out Axl got married to the woman the parents hated. The family's reaction was making me want to just shut that situation down. Sue being incredibly stubborn to get Axl to admit or confess the secret was annoying, come on, you know Axl will never admit anything, his stubbornness is like a cockroach. Even when he was given a chance to explain, he just runs, thinking he's immune from punishment or karma, maybe he deserved the hell that came at him during that scene.
@@loompsteranimation I'm calmer than you think. But I'm just speaking the truth. You have to admit. Aren't there any scenes in the show itself that you find infuriating? ( I know you remember scenes you like ) but are there scenes you find infuriating? Mainly because if you see that the typical shtick gets old a few times.
Frankie had explained to her mother that she and Mike had decided not to buy so many presents this year, but instead, they would purchase one or two gifts per person, which were more meaningful, and gifts that they really wanted. Frankie 's parents, however, didn't think that this "simple Christmas" plan applied to them in their gift buying, and thus the hoards of presents for their grandchildren in defiance of Frankie's plan.
As much as I like this show, the dogs barking in the background of every show, makes me nuts! Always thinking dogs in my neighborhood are barking, when that practically never happens! Wish you could edit OUT!
Sue Heck is like ( in looks a bit, but more so in that sweet don't give up personality) my best friend who is not with us anymore. And Mike reminds me so much of my passed away Dad. I love this show so much. Partly because it's like Dad and Rachel are with me again. Wish it was still on.
Also. I'm brick btw, lol. The scene where he was a Wiseman? I played Mary in the 2nd grade.. The Same Way😂 And im super socially awkward and books are my life😊
"She always flips out at Christmas....I think she gets too excited..."
Relatable
All the Christmas episodes were true classics! So were all the Thanksgiving ones! Thanks so much for this. :)

Why was Frankie pissed off about her parents giving her kids tons of Christmas presents???
Frankie had explained to her mother that she and Mike had decided not to buy so many presents this year, but instead, they would purchase one or two gifts per person, which were more meaningful, and gifts that they really wanted. Frankie 's parents, however, didn't think that this "simple Christmas" plan applied to them in their gift buying, and thus the hoards of presents for their grandchildren in defiance of Frankie's plan.

That was a nice one to put the presents that wasn’t even nice
😃😃😃😃😃😃 really?
Haven’t seen the middle since i was 6 or 7 now i am 9
You should see it buddy. It's one of the cleanest and purest shows on Earth. The definition of pure comedy;, unlike the crap in Hollywood.
Hilarious 😂
Badass!
What happened to Frankie in season9? She sounded & looked different. Something really odd about her voice.
That happens when you get older , you cross a path when it shows more and more
I find it annoying how half of the episodes in this show involve snow outside.
