One tip on using her. You CAN use her in an AF! Make sure she's attacking first or no character attacks before her, the damage will still be x25. Only works for 1 attack but it does hurts a lot!
After almost 2 years of playing this game, my Azami finally got a 5* upgrade. And even that just because her true manifest and AS form together could convince me. I might run present Garulea and the new Toto AD with her now though. She looks very strong and even is rated with a 96/100 on the jp wiki.
Just finished rocking out her fights and the quest after. Those fights were a lot of fun. I spent more time theorycrafting party builds than actually fighting, but I enjoy that part of gaming so it was worth it. Think I might continue that trend and finally get around to getting Curios weapon.
Regarding her use in boss rush like shown, its optimal to use her other 5* skill which also has the "enemy not hit" condition but note that its not delayed. It wont do as much damage but in most cases the 800 aoe multiplier with break might be sufficient. So she can be the first one to attack, followed by the other dps units who attack after her. The single target mega nuke is very specific and requires planning in a lot of cases.
@@WilMakGamerDad right ofc. Depends on the situation. 7500 is probably one of the higher dps options available especially given that it might be stronger than multiple attacks put together. But if most of the damage is excess like in boss rush or enemies with relatively low hp with multiple stoppers, the value of her other skill goes up beyond this one.
Aldo and Azami are OTP, would be if this was an anime as well. Was quite hard to get her, in the it took a while to beat the last boss. Was going to build her for speed, but just need to make a support team around her instead.
I got her to only level 60 and teamed her up with Suzette Alter, RCF and Mistrare AS. Tested her with Fornjot (true earth spirit trial). Let's just say that is just laughable how difficult that fight once was compared to now. She works really well with Mistrare AS because her Luna Cantus has all these buffs she can benefit from, and the attack doesn't affect her performance because is at the end of the turn.
Honestly, one thing that I really like about AE is that the free units are not completely useless. Heck, you can finish almost all the quests only with the free units, especially so for the Chrono cross's units. Aldo is not that bad himself (a rare thing since usually a main character from gacha game will be at the bottom of power creep), as azami, and gariyu manifest buff seem pretty solid too, as clarte with his (her? Since he's asexual) Western buff/debuff, and the tales unit which I often used as a support, then Mana with her quirky gimmick. Even Cerrine I still used her sometimes. Considering the rate of the gacha, AE is the most F2P friendly game. (I'm looking at you FGO and WotV)
I agree 🙂 I always use story characters to complete thier respective quests. I used Aldo and company to complete all the main quests. I find it more interesting this way. Always loved this about the game. WFS is generous in this regard.
@@sweebos I used Cerrine, Aldo, Azami and Gariyu for the most of AD run coz they are my units with the most L/S. I prioritize their L/S bcz their AoE skills can quickly clear the mobs. Currently im farming Clarte's and CC units shadows to 80 and bring my gariyu to Max shadows. Need about 60s more to reach 255. All the free units is solid. Just waiting for the main units to get buff like Aldo. Especially my boy galliard that was forgotten by WFS.
@@blackalgae4858 Nice! I think Clarte and the CC characters are a good call to farm light/shadow for. I'm working on Clarte myself. I would prioritize Aldo but don't have much luck with obtaining points, and his dungeon doesn't offer me much besides that. I ran it for the first 18-20 months of play and he's still sitting at mid 40's 😔. So I had to start farming light/shadow as a secondary objective. At least with Clarte I can get moon realm gear and decent weapons 🤷. 8-10 months on him and he's at 40 something. Not the best luck with that 😄

Azami and Gariyu almost reached 100 and Cerrine 63. Paid units with most L/S are Radias in 90s, Miranda (the 4*) 150s and Shion 4* 72 (crazy right?). Did you use the weekly tickets from nopaew emporium? Try to alternate your dungeon run when you got no L/S in a row. Usually when I ran an AD 3 times and got no L/S I'll change another unit to farm. For example if in 3 runs I got no L for Aldo on miglance palace, I'll move to present or ancient Garulea to farm Azami and Gariyu. I put all my free characters that I want to farm on one team so that I don't need to swap them often. Also not sure if it'll make you luckier with the RNG, but try putting the unit that you want to farm on the first slot in the front row. My chances on getting L/S was higher when I do that. It also happen to my lil bro.
Though, is there anyone that has similar start up effects like ES Tsukiha? Like for instance, she give pain at the start of the battle. Cause I'm thinking to set her as slash zone.
U should've shown your katana attributes Radias AS also makes her a viable DPS for a not very long (perhaps also long fight) and almost any fight Can also safely does 1TNAF with her/Prai/Garambarrel
Gonna drop Clarte and add in Azami in my Toto team, so her and Aldo for light. Tried copying a JP video team of Alter Suz, Milsha AS, Alter Dewey, Azami AS with Shion NS and Yuri at the back for grasta sharing and VC. Switching out Yuri for a tank or healer etc depending on the fight. It's been working great!

I know its every VH but can you recommend?maybe your VH AD recommendation will work for me. I still need 3 more though, I already bought the two from the Nopaew)
I recommend running any VH AD where you need the tomes to make VC grasta. Currently I’m running Beast King’s Castle, but Iscariot or Toto Theater World are other recent choices
i believe it's one of the random weapon drops from the roguelike time twisted maze. better chance of it/equivalent rarity from the rarer oopart appraisals at the deeper floor.
ah, so azami delay to HP stopper, then daisy to do finisher nuke, is there any mutual buffs/debuff that can synergize between these two? edit: nvm, cruel rose was not the delayed move, she can give eagle eyes or set up break after azami's attack though in prep for the next attack.
Eagle Eye is good here since the two of them use delayed attacks which go last. You can also use Philo AS for another form of dps and Orleya for support if you want since those 2 also have delayed attacks
Daisy is weird though. She needs to be the last one to attack and she needs to get damaged to deal massive damage while AS azami needs to go like first, way before any debuff as well. Hopefully AS cerrine is better because it's pretty disappointing when you fight like five quests and AS azami is what you get

It’s a single player game - there is no contest so why not make the unit more op? With the bs gacha rate, more than half of the player base will just use the free units. If you make them weak, the game will just die slowly because A) the gacha units are nearly impossible to get so have to rely on the free units and B) the free units can’t measure up to the gacha units. Also note that AS azami is new and if you know what power creeping is, you know why she is stronger than half of the gacha dps in the game. Not entire gacha dps, just half or slightly more. I can make all units in this game OP “if use right” and yes that is called “hacks” or “50000 years of grinding”

It's less about how powerful a unit is but it's about how you use them. A trash character can still be viable if you know what you're doing. All of the examples of meta units that you listed while powerful, without game knowledge, you aren't getting far with them. This is a strategy game after all. And grinding also applies to everyone playing the game. Even veterans still have to grind just like newbies. We didn't come out of from the middle of nowhere and be powerful all of the sudden. You're usage and routes for the most efficient methods of grinding can still be planned out regardless. I've started grinding from scratch ever since the start of last Christmas and it only took me 2~3 months-ish to catch up with the player-based using mostly free stuff so complaining isn't gonna help you out here

Also you have to like lower the MP consumption because those two moves of her cost way too high for her MP. 50% MP consumption isn't enough unless it's permanent. It only happens in her first turn and after that it's back to normal. All that boss fights and this is the result? Yeah you guys have fun fighting the bosses and carry me through the social media event lol. She's not worth it, not when there are AS kikyo and flammelapis and AS tsubame that has 0 MP move wipe first turn
No it's a DELAYED attack so she's always going to last to act regardless of speed. And of course she's a free unit, so it's hard to compare her to gacha units like AS Kikyo.

I don’t think you understand… every unit has a different role to play. You can’t just use those first turn clear units for everything. There are plenty of bosses when AS Azami shines plus she’s free. Sure you have to fight bosses but that’s part of the game. You play the game to beat the hard content. Why else would you play?
@@dherokbattleborn if you have life outside of this game then you will experience the burnout from playing this game. A lot to grind and the benefits don’t justify the grind. Also there is different role and there is adjusting those roles to work in your team. For instance, Daisy’s role is dps but she has to get hit and she has to go last to deal massive damage. AS azami does shine in some contents but for a single player game, why put weird limitations on her? So basically I have to go through all the boss fights and then use my brain even more to build a team around her for her to work. Of course if I have like 95% of the units in this game then it’s fine but I don’t even have half lol. Oh and it has been 2.5 years for me and I still haven’t arrived to the last world using the white key so yeah. Way too much grinding and little benefits unless RNG is in your favor

Run Clarte too, that way you'll have a shadow character with high points as well as light. 🙂

Yes, though green keys are 10% chance vs 20% chance with red keys
