I’ve watched many versions of this plot but this is the only version that shows the fl entering into the army to avenge her family after her divorce. I started reading the novel and some plots were the same while others were added or tweaked. The ending was a bit rushed especially their wedding. Overall, I enjoyed it.

Good drama, even if editing is a bit spotty. Plot is summarized in another's comments, but worth mentioning is that the FL's husband is a weak person, easily led for personal gain. The mistress, whom he marries as principal wife, will do anything to get her own way. Unfortunately, her costumes also made her look like a rectangle with a head. 😂 In other versions of this story, there was more chemistry between them. This one felt like a "business marriage". In direct contrast, I liked the push and pull of the two leads, both are smart, have their own agendas, and yet are drawn to each other. I also enjoyed the ML's bodyguard and the FL's maid... both loyal to a fault, and not above teasing their "master". ❤
At the beginning the script of the fl is great, but than her script changing her to be annoying, she general usually patient, strategies and cunning but suddenly she try to barged in during the matrimony ceremony like headleas cockroaches😂
Yes!! There was no need for subterfuge, he could have told her other from the start...there was no reason to hide his identity. It didn't add to the plot in any way other than to make this longer than it needed to be....and yeah, the FL was a bit annoying, but so was the 2FL and the ex-sister-in-law. 😅

It suddenly cut from the middle of the ex-husband's funeral right to the main couple's wedding in the palace, and before that was finished, they cut to the ending scene. This version of the story is pretty good, better than the ones where they just argue the entire time, but the new one with Ma Qiuyuan (called Queen of Battlefield: Her Return to Glory) is the best.

is it just me who thought the Female villain was beautiful, the costumes were very beautiful on her, and the story line just drag for no reason but it was a good story nonetheless

Stupid plot. The scheming woman was exposed nearly 5 to 6 times in the plot but still she was not punished till the end. No action was taken against her where more severe actions were taken and punishments were given for petty crimes. Maybe very low budget movie and don’t want to waste on many actors and resumed the sane scheming woman as villain till the end.
Even though the 2nd fl was a horrible person it still sickens me that other woman blame her for the rape of men, I’ve seen this a lot I. Their culture in real life and in the drama and it’s sickening
One thing I always wonder about these movies is how parents or grandparents compel their kids to marry people they think is best regardless of the happiness of their children My dear life is too short to live with someone you don’t love Leave and find happiness somewhere else
I've seen a few versions now and I think my favorite is still the one with Qin Tianai!
這版是拿到和離聖旨最快搬出婆家的，也是男女主愛情鋪陳最多的。女配完美詮釋了禍害遺千年，怎麼作妖都不會沒命😂。唯一的缺失就是後面跟皇上合謀那段剪輯有點亂。
