Owners make the site….I’ve been to loads of rubbish sites…which were a pain..but I’ve got about 6 around the country that i wont let go of ,return again and again..
We are going there in july this year.we were looking to go to cornwall and saw your review.really looking forward to it.one question if i may,are dogs allowed in the seating area? Tia
Excellent review. We ran Caravan Club holiday rallies here in the past and Rob was very helpful indeed. It’s a lovely quiet area close to Mevagissey on the south Cornwall coast and our favourite was the Lost Gardens of Heligan on the road to the park. You do need a car though as it’s a bit rural.
Thank you very much. Yes we wanted to put that in as we did try to walk from the site but the main road was far too busy and we did turn around to get the car. 👍👍
Hi Dave, was thinking about you on the trip as the couple next to us we’re from Dudley. When asking them where they were from his opening line was ‘have you heard of the Black Country ?’ He even had his Black Country flag flying. Couldn’t understand a word he was saying but he was a laugh. 😂👍

Looks good and you were obviously fortunate with the weather. I would have liked to see you both eating a healthy salad or two though😂😂😂 Great informative and well put together video - well done
Nice looking site. Is their supermarkets local for groceries? I know caravaners are mainly tourers but some people may like to seasonal pitch their vans. Do these offer that option? Great video tho guys. Keep up the great work.
As far as I am aware they don’t do seasonal pitches or storage however the prices are so reasonable in the off season there were people there who did stay for longer periods. In relation to shops there is a Tesco and Asda that we went to most days around 10 mins from the site also there are fast food establishments at St Austell including KFC and McDonald’s.
can I just ask are you in or around the Mossley area of tameside at the moment. I thought I saw you and almost started waving like a crazy bird, then I stopped because you don't know me. whoops any way let me know think it was your car registration x
Hi Nila, I can say that was not us. Maybe some watched our video and copied our plate but I can say we are over 100 miles away from that area and have been all week. Thank you for the spot tho we’re honoured. 👍
Looks like you had a fantastic time. The site looks lovely and you definitely had the weather. Were travelling down in 2 weeks to a site near St Austall called 'Little Winnick' Pentewan (Just down from Mcdonalds) We cant wait. Can you recommend any sites to see,
Hi Scott, we passed that site and then The Sands next to it. We went to Mevagissi and had a walk it was quite hilly but some beautiful views we mostly stayed at base camp as Just needed a chill out holiday but must say that all the people at our site were giving us recommendations all over. All I will say is that some of the roads are extremely tight so please just do your research before heading off as I did see that some are single lanes that even cars struggle with. You will have a lovely time. Jules.
