Is this live for real? It is so well played, drums sounds great, guitar tones are incredible and even the voices are so close to perfect. This band is pure gold.
definitely live. i saw them a couple years ago, and it was one of the few times that ive seen a band live, then had a hard time going back to their recorded stuff because their live show was so ridiculously good, and i absolutely love all of their recorded stuff too

It sounds a lot like a Boss HM2. I think this album was produced and all by either Will Putney or Kurt Ballou and they both use that sound on their own projects and other bands they record too.

what pedal are they using to get that tone? its unlike anything else on that album, It sounds like a chainsaw.
Not sure of the whole rig, but they use an Electro-Harmonix Octave Multiplexer to get that chunky low end.
