For years, I thought I was pretty savvy with OneNote. These tutorials have shown me what OneNote is capable of doing in an easy-to-learn fashion. I feel like I'm going to be a "OneNote" superuser in no time at all!
Thanks for the video. Not only does it demystify templates but it also gives a primer on where physical notebooks are located which also demystifies some of the mechanics of it. Bravo. Now if only there was a library of all types of templates, not just caledars,we would be cookin'.
Excellent tutorial as i have only touched the surface with it and this video makes me understand more and want to do more with one note - thanks again 😊
I have loved your video, Elizabeth! Go ahead with more videos like this, Kevin. You are so amazing lecturer, Elizabeth, that I am thinking about where Kevin will get another job.
Thank you for this informative video on OneNote. I was specifcally looking for creating lines template. Specifically, the lines which never end. I wanted to create multiple pages like look on OneNote
Great video on making templates. I've used the information to cusomize several meeting note templates but I have one issue. No matter which template I use, when I try to import 'meeting details' it opens that container inside or on top of one of my existing containers. When I try to drag it and drop it where I want it, it takes part of the existing container with it. Is there a way to lock in where the meeting details import so this doesn't happen?
Thank you for the info. I have OneNote but it doesn't look like this, I'm using Microsoft 365 personal. What do I have to do to get this look or is this a standalone version?
To share notebook as a template, whenever I do copy to, it always fails saying there is a duplicate. Then when I check the destination I copied to, it didn't copy it successfully but instead it turned it into a folder with all of sections separated into their own .one files instead of retaining the single notebook. I notice this happens with larger onenote files.
Same case with me. I am using MAC and my ONe NOte is different from showing here. If anyone successfully resolved this, kindly share the trouble shooting. Thank you.

Thanks.
it seems such a new feature does not exist in the latest version (16.81) for MacOS.
Templates are not available on the Mac or iOS version of OneNote.

Unfortunately, Templates are not available in OneNote for MacOS.
Why it is not available in one note for Android?

I tried updating my OneNote to use the templates function, however I don’t think this is available in the UK yet. Please could you check?
Great question! I'm going to look into this and get back to you
