- I'll show you what I love about DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub on Fridays. You may have to sacrifice your entire day if you want to maximize your earnings and profit, but it is well worth it. As a delivery driver, you may need to work during the weekends when other people are not working, but it's what you have to do to make a huge amount of money.

You are the perfect example of the kind of numbers I was doing with the three food delivery apps last year for most of the year. Lol I don't really see any other RUclipsrs as transparents and doing these kinds of numbers. It's refreshing to watch. These are the kinds of numbers that allowed me to do over $70,000 last year. Actually, of the 16 days I worked in May last year, eight of those days were over $400. One of which was just shy of $500. Now that my debt is paid off, I work a lot less hours so I'll probably make closer to about $40,000 to $50,000 this year. However, my average pay per hour has gone up significantly and now that I've been doing spark since May, my average pay per mile has had a huge joke on top of that. Hopefully you can get off of their wait list relatively soon. I was on the way list for over a year before I was able to get on.

Yeah, thatd be a nice feature for them to put into the UI, but you just know they wont b/c then restaurant xxx would be mad b/c everyone x's them out. Havent done this for very long, but theres a Taco Bell and a variety of places in a mall thats got a MASSIVE food court that constantly gets pings that is just a nightmare to goto. The TB, I swear clown music should play everytime I go there w/the speed at which they prepare. Other Bells, not bad, this one.. OMG everytime I get suckered in b/c I AM not paying attention I wanna slap myself, but its weird that stores orders are ALWAYS prime. like 8+, 3m and unders but its that anxiety of waiting for 5+min for them to make it.
Weekend is where I make the most money
Love to see it, while others are relaxing and winding down for the weekend, gig workers capitalize on that! It's a win-win situation!
Fridays are always good as far as amount of orders. The only thing about Fridays is the Traffic. Almost go into road rage # 1.. Five stages of road rage 5= 5. You sorta curse under your breath 4. You Curse out loud but no one else can hear you. 3. You roll down your window and almost stick your head out. 2. You blow the horn and yell. 1. " think of the worst road rage you've ever had

Today I made $73.94 for 2 hours ($15 was from a challenge that I don’t know which one I completed). It started off very slow, I didn’t receive orders for the first 20 minutes except a crappy one. I find I do better in the morning than I do at the dinner shift, but just a few weeks ago I did better at the dinner shift than breakfast.
What time do you start and finish....

Hi, FYI if you see that instead of .25, . 50. , .75 or .00 (that is $6.25, $6.50, etc.) what you see is numbers like $12.11, $6.78, and so on, you can be sure that there is no hidden tip. (That only applies to Doordash)
I learned that as well. Those odd number of cents usually means it’s the max amount shown I have noticed

awesome work, Jacob! I've been contemplating increasing my hours but only for a couple of days. Friday's traffic for me is so bad that I'm not sure it would be more beneficial for me to do more hours on Friday. Perhaps Saturdays and Sundays...

That's happened to me before. I have to force close and try again like twice for it to work. It's so annoying when you can't unpause because you don't want to lose your dash. Once, it happened when it was busy so I didn't care. Just hopped right back on.
If you are killing it like you are doing now on Fridays I would love to see your Fridays as a top dasher. Because I know you will be getting huge tips. I get $20 plus tips all the time now that I'm a top dasher versus the smaller tips.

Hey bro I believe if you became top dasher you will make a ton of money quicker. The tips are much bigger when you are top dasher. You will be cherry picking from better orders when you are a top dasher vs non-top dasher. I was just like you at first. But once I became top dasher I make at least 400 a day everyday now. Some days I hit 550 to $600. And that's just on one app. It's hard to multi-app when you are a top dasher. I watch your channel a lot and you like to experiment. So you should definitely experiment with top dasher for October. I believe you would love the results.
I love in a big city and I am a top dasher and I do not get "bigger" tips or even better offers than when I wasn't a top dasher. The ONLY difference is I can choose when I want to dash.
I’m going to have to try fridays.
for some reason mondays are the big days for DD but fridays are the big days for UE here. so i make sure to work mondays and fridays every week. any other day it’s a toss up. but those two days i make between $150-200 with both apps, any other day i’m lucky to make $150 at all. i usually aim for $120ish for about a 6-8 hour shift. i would absolutely lose my mind if i made over $200 for a day, but i also never work over 8 hours. it’s too hard on my back (i’m only 29 but feel ancient lol).
I usually only have extraordinary Fridays if it includes a flex shift or two.

Has anyone else noticed crazy base pay on UE? I’ve recently been getting $14-18 orders and then, when I look at my earnings, it’s $13+ base pay 🤯
If the orders been sitting a while or there's not many drivers usually late night or early morning hours, UE will throw that kind of money out there.
On average how many orders do you do per day to get $200+?

I recently left a part time restaurant job and a grocery store job to deliver food for UE. I’ve been making more money doing that than the other jobs. I just started UE in July and after the first three days I had an abysmal rating. It was in the 60s. I knew I had to get it up which I steadily was. It had gone up to an 85% and out of nowhere, 2 days after my last day at the grocery store I get deactivated out of nowhere. They said my rating is too low as its supposed to be a 87% or higher. Why they allowed me to deliver with a rating in the 60s will forever be beyond me but the fact that I had gotten so close to 87% and got permanently banned makes no sense at-least to me. Every support agent I speak to can’t help me out. I’ve been trying to sign up for other gig apps for months. DD was finally letting me sign up this week after about 4 months of waiting but something with the part where it scans my face wasn’t working. I got in contact with their support and explained my issue and offered solutions that I saw other people use on the internet. Once I offered the solutions they stopped contacting me so now I’m left with
no job at the moment. I was planning on getting this full time job in November at a hospital. I say november because I have a trip out of the country for a week in October and getting a new job but requiring a week off in the first month is not easy, but now it looks like I have to scramble to keep my life together. UBER THANK YOUUUU
I'm sorry you're going through this. My only guess is Uber gave you a grace period to get your rating up, but they should have looked into it more and saw that your rating were on the way up
What rating are you speaking of? Satisfaction rating, acceptance rating both?
I got 2 friends who do 12+ a day and make on average 1500 to 2000 a week. For the most part they work 5 days a week but at times they do work 6. I am waiting for the background check to complete because that kind of money made me quit my 9-5 to go after it.

You have to force close the app when you can't resume your dash when paused. when I dash I'm constantly refreshing the app. if I don't get an order for 5 minutes I force close that thing. You have to constantly force close it and you should be good
Never unassign yourself you will not be compensated. Hit excessive wait and contact the app you will get compensated
What’s crazy is I’m a TD and make $30+/hr every week. I live in a smaller city and have experienced being non TD and it sucked. Made no money and 2k less than my normal months
I just got back from my first small shift since having flu and called it early cause I'm still not 100% back yet to feeling myself which sucks but health is #1

My wife started doordashin I go with her at nights. She became a top dasher we did over 220 deliveries in a week but they are making her schedule because her acceptance rate is 40 percent they said needs to be 70 percent to dash whenever she wants. That’s not gonna happen we had one earlier that was 2.75 for 23 miles we declined.
I deleted my DD app twice when I have had orders picked up by other drivers and cannot get support on the phone to correct this continuing problem.
Ubereats has been best app for me

Your luck is insane. I get 3$ orders for 1.5-2 miles but I’m on bike, not taking them. I started to be more picky and it actually works but not on your level. 10$ for 1 mile orders? Never me. 😂 not hating it’s just insane.

I'm having the same issue with Uber, I had at one point 4 in a row that were already picked up. Uber support said they are having a big issue with driver theft. Also been having a lot of tip baiting order on Uber, I had 4 alone last night.

Those hiddens are pretty baller, cant lie. I have had some nice ones, but havent done this enough to really be impressed w/that aspect of DD. I've actually been more impressed w/the fact they keep attempting to give $15 orders w/30min drives a chance. And its crazy the fact that often times its a handful of places that just constantly have the customers that think "hey, you know a 30min drive isnt bad for a "possible" surprise tip" pfft.. plz

Idc about how much I make per hour but my goal is 100 to 150 a day. Working all day with a two hour break in between. Start at 8am and end at 9 or 10
Naw fam efficiency is key you could be making 2 as much by doing things properly it's just a suggestion do your thing lol

Put customer drinks in a holder sealed in a bag. No drivers should carry drinks open like that. Unsanitary

I'd recommend signing up for DD, but you should only drive for one app until you have a hang of it. Only start driving for the 2nd app when you are sitting around waiting too long between orders after figuring out a good strategy with your first app

Question...when your doing multiple apps, do you keep all them up even when your taking another delivery to someone?
The apps usually have a pause feature to pause orders. You don’t wanna close the DD app cuz you’ll lose your spot in the schedule. So whichever app you take an order, go pause the other while you complete the delivery then unpause it after

Doordash has the pause for up to 35 minutes and you can usually do it again before time runs out.

Not too long on weekends when I’m using all my apps. On weekdays I could be waiting a little bit for orders

Did you total your averages for the slower days and then decide to stop? I'm curious what your averages were for Tues-Wed. The whole week I'd be curious to know if you have it all saved in a spreadsheet.

I’d recommend tracking your own mileage. I use Gridwise
