Im from the Caribbean...I was there in Blackpool for 4 months... very beautiful, quiet and very friendly people. Love to eat at Gurkka restaurant and Nandos. Food was delicious, KFC and Mac Donald's. 💯💯💯💯😋. Was an amazing experience up the Tower. An experience I will never forget. Hope to be back in Blackpool next year for my birthday. God bless black pool and entire UK. Thank you for sharing these videos.
Hi there, I would not have spent £16.50 to go up Blackpool Tower. Instead I would buy a one day saver ticket costing £6.60 for the Blackpool Trams which run between Starr Gate and Fleetwood. The one day saver ticket gives the ticket holder a day's unlimited travel on the trams, so you could ride up and down as many times as you like and/or ride on as many different trams as you like! The Blackpool Trams are a GREAT way to travel around Blackpool! 🙂 Best wishes and take care. Kind regards, Peter Skuce. St Albans. Hertfordshire.
I saw them going back and forth on the beach front but I think I was going to just stay near the beach and pier so wasn't too sure where else I could go with them but they did look cool though! Thanks for watching 😀
Could have done this so much cheaper and done alot more things. Lunch at either CJs Cafe, chris Higgits, abbingdon street bakery. Get a day pass for the trams, you can travel all day as far at fleetwood. Do the piers, lots of free stuff to do in blackpool.
People moan about costs of Hotels etc. at British seaside resorts and compare them with Spain BUT the running costs in the UK are far in front of Spain (Heating-Wages etc) So your Hotel to me looked good value. Creaking floors (that's character) Keep supporting our British Seaside Resorts.😊😊😊😊😊
@@everydayimeating3407 Yeah... Chris Higgitt's Famous £1 Burger is well known for bucking the trend in Blackpool... While other places to eat... Are sometimes guilty of fleecing holiday makers coming to visit there... I'll put a RUclips link below in the reply section... So you can take a look for yourself my friend... It's from another RUclipsr The MacMaster (Lee) Who filmed there about a year ago... For future reference the Address of Higgett's is 6-8 Dale Street, Blackpool, FY1 5AF. 👌
I grew up in Blackpool. I think you got a real bargain at the Savoy and with your eats. Try Morecambe next or Cleveleys which is just a bit north on the tram from Blackpool.
Whenever I visit Southend on Sea and I walk along their pier I never look down between the gaps because it gives me so much anxiety, lol. Also, perhaps a trip to Southend on Sea for a future 24hrs with £50 video might be an idea? They have the longest pier in the world at 1.7 miles in length. There are plenty of places to eat. The fish n chips aren't bad but nowhere near as good as the fish n chips from Old Town Fish Bar in Hastings. The walk along the promenade towards Westcliff is decent as well. As far as hotels go, I've never stayed in one in Southend, but there's a few. Blackpool is a coastal city which I would like to visit someday looks good up there. Good video 👍🏻.
Really enjoyed this video , I think your room was definitely good for £34. Fish and chips looks great, looked like you had a good selection of foods and a good time . Definitely look forward to more videos like this. They are amazing. I suggest you go to Brighton , with £40 =) xxx
I enjoyed watching this video ☺️ you should go to Weston super mare with a budget of £50. It's really good there. They do an amazing fish and chips on the pier ☺️☺️
The gardens were well tended , you tend to a garden 😁 That room was very basic but for the price and a one night stay acceptable , I've stayed in much worse. How far are you prepared to travel ? Bournemouth would be a challenge but do know you can get similar priced accommodation such as The Heathlands but don't expect too much 🤣 Great vlog fella 👍
I knew there was a word for that lol You know its almost cheaper to travel abroad than to some places for me going from north to south. I might try some of these abroad lol
@@everydayimeating3407 ....it's the reason I bought a diesel , 800 miles to a tank makes it a fraction of the price of taking the train and sometimes even quicker. We have family down south and can make 3 trips there and back for the price of one ticket for the pair of us 🤣 We live in Lancashire so it's a 600 mile return journey we do 4 times a year , lucky to have free accommodation though 👍
Wrong time to come really as it's out of season, hence most of the shops and arcades are closed on the promenade and the piers. The £50 you had would not last long if you wanted to see the Aquarium, waxworks and of course the Pleasure Beach, that would easily blow your budget and more I am afraid
I have been to Blackpool quite a few times and have some tips if you decide to re-try this challenge. 1. Firstly stay at The Hounddog Hotel on Bairstow Street. It's a cute little B+B close the central pier. It's clean and comfortable and includes a full breakfast for around £30 a night. 2. You didn't feature Coral Island. It's great on a budget with the bingo, arcade and games. The restaurants are pretty decent too. 3. Stanley park does have more going on in the summer. 4. Walk through Stanley Park to find The Model Village, Blackpool Zoo and The Nature Reserve right next door. 5. Ripley's Believe Or Not is an interesting attraction by the Pleasure Beach. 6. Lastly you didn't show the various shops and restaurants in the town either. There's quite a lot with a variety for all tastes and budgets. Seriously considering re-doing this challenge as you missed out on a lot.
I wouldn’t eat fish and chips near the seagulls! I think the best restaurant for fish and chips is Yorkshire fishires (if I spelled it right) it’s on topping street absolutely delicious food
I live on Blackpool and if you won't to have a good day out you need at least £100 per person per day lol it cost about £60 to get in the pleasure beach
The Blackpool Dungeons is much better value than the Tower. It costs £16. You would not have been able to film in there as it is not allowed though. Just a thought for anyone thinking of going.
Why didn't he check the sheets and the bed mattress and pillow case to see if clean or hairs that what I do want booking into a hotel not a man thing lol
That wasn't me cheeky too wee Chinese dude in expressway car's rubber suit lot mk1 audi a3 was in a pound letting other folk use it a hink world off uncle sikwa cheah so a do
Where should I go for my next 24 hours? What should my budget be?

Barrow-in-Furness
Great Yarmouth
Go to Birmingham and spot the white man
@@yvonnesmith8409 no point going to Great Yarmouth now the waxworks has closed down
Try giving Portsmouth and Southsea a go. It's underrated. Southsea has some lovely places to go on a budget.

There were loads more hotel and B&B's at a similar price too
Its depends on what sort of callabor of people you wanna share your hotel with at those prices 😆 hen dos and stag dos.. i think not.
I love going to Stanley park.
I do wildlife photography and I go almost eveyday.
Feed the goose family. It’s the best place for wildlife photography.
It was a really nice park!
Lovley park went everyday also as a kid to walk the dog
The famous pound burger guy burgers are a bargain in Blackpool! Could even enjoy a cheap can of cider or two!
I must have missed him when I was there. Theres so many shops and places to eat!

Twenty four 'checking outs' in sixteen minutes is pretty good going. 😀 Don't worry I won't be counting them in your other videos. 😛
You should check out my other 24hrs in a city videos and see how many times I say check out lol 😀

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! I thought I would change from the usual to see how it goes

Scarborough would be a good place to visit. I see Blackpool has never changed in the 20 years I was last there.
Scarborough would be a good place! Just on the other coast
I used to like Scarborough and visited earlier this year but in my opinion it as become a rip off place and I won’t be going back anytime soon
The beach is best with a FPV drone. And with a drone, you can take shots of the tower view without paying the ticket to get in the tower.
Try Great Yarmouth next. xx
That would be a great place to visit!
You should’ve tried Yorkshire fisheries. Won the award for best fish and chips.
I'll need to visit here next time!
Great video!
