Wow!😲Bravissimo Arturo!👏Sung with great pathos, expression and sensitivity🌹, I love this aria and have heard it many times over the decades but never better than this🏆Beautiful voice!🎵.
Great new talent to me..I love the excitement in the Tenor voice...Arturo has such beauty and power..I havent heard a better voice in the world today...be safe,dear,Sir..Happy New Year..best wishes tgc
Terrible french. Yes. You are a "loud" tenor. That is not what the french style is. Listen to Kraus and Gedda. They do not destroy vowels the way you do. Yes I know. You sing a lot all over the world. Remember quality before quantity. Hopefully you'll learn.
I don’t think you do know... This is an incredibly difficult aria in Werther of all operas. You definitely can’t sing like him or I would’ve heard of you. Hopefully you’ll learn ;)
Sigh...there's always one of these on every post. Alex, there are different tastes for everything. There is no doubt that Kraus and Gedda were great singers and artists but I happen to like Arturo better. He is versatile and has a warmer more masculine timbre. To each his own man! No need to be negative and condesending.
Yes, Kaihan, this is true also, but , he is incredible sensitive, of course a prefer for this aria Kaufmann, deeper and duller and I see he is too italian singing but deep feeling must recognise.
His voyels are all very good, I could nitbpick about the "e" and "u" but overall very good. Stylistically he is closer to Alagna whereas Kraus had a more Italienate way of singing. I happen to prefer Kraus's lighter tone but I think the comment on this being a frar cry from authentic French style is unfair. In terms of French pronounciation, Chaco-Curz is as close to native speaker as it gets. Kraus for example has clear italinate sounds in most vowels ("du" "tristesse").
Bravo Arturo ! C est juste magnifique
Estupendo!!!
Such beautiful and truly committed singing! That is a golden age voice and singer.
Me sentí atrapado en un torbellino de emociones ... Bravisimo maestro
